Chapter 16~Trouble in the magistrates office

Waking up the next morning then looking around noticing that i was back in kyokatei in my room but then looking beside me was soji who was sleeping peacefully slowly sitting up then stroking his hair softly he groaned then turned onto his other side with a giggle then slowly kissing him on the cheek and covering him up with his blanket,grabbing my clean clothes as my other clothes were outside getting dried then getting up as i stepped over him and walked to the door. Opening the door then stepping out into the hallway then closing the door i headed down the hallway until reaching the bathroom,closing and locking the door i turned the shower on, forty minutes later coming out wearing a white t-shirt,black bottoms with a silver star on the side,white socks and red trainer's,my hair was in a bubble,heading to the kitchen along the way i noticed kinshiro wearing the kimono he wore on our day out.

Kinshiro : "good morning yui"

Yui : "morning kinshiro are you off to the magistrates office"

Kinshiro : "yes"

Yui : "well i wish you the luck today"

Kinshiro : "thanks yui and take care"

Yui : "you too"

Seeing him walk down the hallway until he was out of sight then heading back to the kitchen as i entered gathering everything what is needed for morning breakfast for soji also for me since i felt a bit hungry so starting it off i began to make some omelette with some potato and fish,also preparing some salad and the miso soup while singing to myself then i heard a voice and stopped singing turning around soji stood there with a smile on his face. Greeting him the good morning he smiled then greeted me back he then walked over and kissed me softly on the lips my cheeks began to blush so did his then our lips parted,everything was done perfectly and served in a bowl in fifty minutes soji helped me place them on the tray and carried them to his room,opening the door we entered then closing the door he walked to the table and sat down,sitting across from him picking up our chopsticks we began to eat.

Yui : "hey soji"

Soji : "yes?"

Yui : "do you regret falling in love with me.."

Soji : "why do you say that of course i don't"

Yui : "what kaito said last night was true if it wasn't for you guys protecting me you could have released your fighting potential"

Soji : "don't say that yui and don't listen to him okay"

Yui : "okay.."

Hour later soji was dressed in his new kimono after having his breakfast then the shower both of us then left kyokatei and began to walk through the street's as of today i was helping soji while ichika is sick in bed he had a bad sushi and is now bed ridden but this also gave me more time to spend with him. Through out the day we settled arguments and worries it was getting to noon now both of us headed to the soba noodle restraunt until spotting kinshiro waving to him he waved back slightly with some sadness but anger in his face,asking him what was wrong he sighed then asking him if wanted some noddles with me and soji he nodded,the three us then headed to the soba noodle restraunt,up on arriving we entered then sat down as we ordered the noddles he began to tell us.

Yui : "so what happened?"

Kinshiro : "there was a break in and important documents were stolen"

Yui : "that's not good who would do a horrible thing"

Soji : "agreed"

Kinshiro : "worst of all is that they are blaming me for it so now i am under house arrest"

Yui : "i am so sorry to hear that"

The waitress brought out the noddles then placing them down infront of us kinshiro let out a sigh as he picked up his chopsticks then began to eat me and soji did the same but something was playing on my mind like someone must have set kinshiro up then let the other magistrates know that he did it this was affecting kinshiro badly there was something we could do to help. Finishing up our noddles then paying for them he then waved to kinshiro who waved back then disappeared in the crowd,soji and i continued our patrol until we ran into hotaka,wakasa and aoi seeing the three of them and waving to them all three walked over as hotaka was about to hug me soji pulled me towards him and gave him a cold glare,hotaka pouted. A laugh escaped my mouth in which it nearly put into tears everyone smiled,seeing their smiles my face began to go red we spoke with the three until we could hear shouting we went to investigate then to my surprise the drug store owner was arguing with the customer saying that he damaged his medicine's and had to pay for them but the customer refused to do so and it ended up into a argument me,hotaka,wakasa,soji and aoi ran over and pushed the two men apart. 

Wakasa : "calm down gentleman what is the problem"

Owner : "this customer broke one of my precious medicine's"

Customer : "i did not not old man! you gave me the broken one"

Owner : "no i didn't that bottle was brand new"

Yui : "please calm down both of you"

Customer : "stay out of this girl!"

Yui : "no i wont!"

Customer : "are you stupid or something fine i teach you a lesson"

The customer grabbed my wrist and unsheathed his sword then prepared to slash me but hotaka and wakasa got in between us as hotaka grabbed the man's hand and pulled it away from my wrist wakasa then immediately grabbed the sword the customer growled then snatching his sword away he sheathed it. Soji came back after speaking to a witness a old lady who was the owner's wife with that said aoi glared at him then telling him he had to pay the samurai clicked his tongue then taking out his purse from his breast pocket then paid for the broken medicine bottle and walked off mumbling,soji made sure he didn't do nothing else once he was happy he turned to the owner who thanked him with a nod and saying good bye to aoi who headed home,wakasa who was heading back to his clinic and finally hotaka heading back to the theatre,soji and i continued once again with our patrol until the sky turned like a orange red colour due to the sun setting finished with our patrol for the day we headed back to kyokatei but along the way something caught my eye thinking it was williem again but it was not but someone else who has not become familiar to me at this point which sent shivers down my spine.
