After the picnic my family cleaned up and left for home, as soon as I made it home I was tired so I slept. The next morning I sat out on my porch watching the bees, when Emma came out.
"Hey Ashley wanna go to the park to hang out a bit?" Called Emma
"Uhhhh....." I mumbled
"Come on it'll be fun."Emma reassured me
"Ok, mom can got to the park with Emma?" I asked
"Sure, have fun." Mom replied
"So how was your day so far Ashley?" Asked Emma
"Well the same as always." I sighed
"I heard you use to have a best friend before she moved away." Said Emma
"Yeah well.....wait what, how did you know, who told you." I asked curiously
"Yeah...well your mom told me." Emma said
"Ugh, mom would do that, yeah Diana, my best friend, did move, then you moved in her house." I said remembering me and Diana
"Well now I'll be you new friend, ok." Emma said smiling
"Uhhhh...well I'm not exactly a people person." I mumbled
"I think you'd be a great friend, you seem kind and caring." Emma said reassuringly
