I was walking down the hall of Lawley high, to the soccer field for practice. I dragged my stuff along the floor barley making it out to the field.
Prom is coming up, and no one has asked me. I was hoping that my best friend Timmy would ask me but he hasn't.
When I get out to the field I see a note that says, leave your stuff here, and come to the football field. I let out a groan and walk to the football field.
I try and walk out the door only to be blocked by the football coach, "hold on a second y/n take this and walk out onto the football field." Coach says and hands me a sign with yes on the front and no on the back, and a flower, a white rose, which is my favorite flower.
I walk out into the field and see a whole bunch of colored lanterns that spell prom? And I see my best friend Timmy standing beside it as the whole cheerleading squad cheers "Timmy wants to take y/n to the prom, will she say yes?"
Then Timmy comes up to me, "y/n I've always loved you, ever since 5th grade, our school play where we kissed, I felt sparks, and I hoped you did too, I love you y/n and I'm glad to have you as a best friend, so will you do me the honors of going to the prom with me?"
I tear up and I finally realize what that sign is for and I hold up yes and point to it, then I say "yes Timmy I will go to prom with you." I hug him tightly and I hear people taking pictures.
I was honestly the happiest girl in the world, it was the best day.
Now we wait for prom.
