Today is the day, stop being so scared Y/n. You try and comfort yourself. Today you were getting married, to him.
I wish words were easy to say. You say over and over and over, I'm not going to cry. You say to yourself, "ugh I wish my best friend was here."
"Hellooooooooooo you callleedddd?" A voice sings out, "y/b/f/n." You whisper. Tears fill your eyes as you run and hug him/her.
"Honey, I wasn't going to leave you on your wedding day, boo you getting married." Y/b/f/n cheers out.
You and y/b/f/n have been friends since you could remember, but he/she went to Harvard, and they didn't talk for a while, he/she knew you and Nick were dating. You haven't seen him/her in person since high school, and you missed him/her so much.
"I can't believe you're here!" You say whole heartedly. "I've missed you so much." You say to y/b/f/n.
"Yeah well it took me a whole bunch of extra shifts to make enough money to buy a ticket here, but I didn't do it for nothing." He/she says.
"I'm scared." You say truthfully. "Oh honey I know, but you shouldn't be. I know you, I know you love Nick, I know you're going to be fine." He/she says.
It's time, your dad couldn't make it, so Rudan accompanied you, Rudan had always been your best friend, in fact he was the one who introduced you and Nick, and when you asked him he jumped and screamed, but then calmed down and told you he was honored when you asked him to fill in for your dad.
You walk up to the doors where Rudan is waiting for you. Your hair was curled, you were wearing a wedding dress that was longer than you were. Your makeup perfected to a T, "you ready homes." Rudan asks. "Ready as I'll ever be." You say.
You link arms with Rudan and he nods to the organ player. The music begins, and you begin walking.
You walk and you see your mother, siblings, cousins, aunts, all of your family, except your dad.
He said he would be he for your wedding, he was in the army, so he knew it was risky. He said he would be there sometime.
You and Rudan walk and then finally you see him. You both lock eyes, and your heart beat gets louder and louder.
You stay focused on him, and he's focused on you. He takes away your ease, and makes you feel like the only one in the world.
Finally when what seems like for forever of walking, you get to the alter, and see him smiling at you. You both lock hands and share a nervous smile.
The whole ceremony was a blur, you didn't hear a word the priest said until he told us to say our vows.
Nick went first, "y/f/n, ever since I met you, I knew you'd be the one, through rough times, you had the choice to leave. You never did. I told you to get out, you stayed, I said I hated you, you smiled and said I love you. We'd get in horrible fights, but you'd always stay. We'd been best friends through Rudan, and I know this sounds cheesy, but I want to look at you, every day, like the first time we met. Y/f/n, you are an amazing, beautiful, strong, kind, independent woman. I love you so much, and I wouldn't trade you for the world." As Nick finished tears were in both of your eyes.
The you began, "Nicholas David Bean, I've known you for 13 years, the first time I ever saw you, I had a ginormous crush on you, and the only one that knew was Rudan. I didn't even tell Y/b/f/n about you, or even liking you. I finally told you 6 years later, and here we are. You've been there for ever scar, ever suicide attempt, every tear, you were there. I never left, I knew you wouldn't leave either, and I knew you didn't want me to leave. I can't thank you enough for being there for me, every time. I love you." You finished, by then tears were streaming down Nick and your faces.
"Do you Nicholas David Bean take Y/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do." Nick says.
"Do you Y/f/n take Nicholas to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do." You say as Nick takes your hands.
"You may now kiss the bride." The priest says, and Nick immediately smashes your lips together. Sparks fly everywhere and that was the first kiss you shared, as a Bean.
" I love you y/f/m/n Bean." Nick says and smashes his lips into your again.
