***CASSIE***

It was the end of the day and I was in my last class of the day, history.  Calum and his friend, Luke, sat behind me. I could hear them talking, but I was still surprised when Calum scooted up next to me.  I was kinda mad at him for telling that we kissed, but I also knew it was going to get out someday.

"Hey," he whispered, leaning on the desk. He flashed a smile and all the anger that I'd had at him vanished

"Hey," I whispered back, acting casual, but my stomach was a butterfly factory.

"So, who would you like to go on another date?" he asked.

"Maybe.  Where would we go?" I replied.

"Oooh, but that's the thing,"  Calum said.  "It would be a surprise."  He mischievously smiled.

I laughed.  Mr. Fields slowly turned around and scanned the room.  After he'd turned back to the board, Calum and I held in our giggles.

"Okay, sure," I answered. He smiled widely and kissed my cheek before getting up and sitting back down in his spot next to Luke.   A few of the girls who'd been watching gave me dirty looks.  I ignored them.  As much as I hated to admit it, I was actually looking forward to this date.

_______

After I'd eaten dinner, I got a text from Calum.  He'd put his name and number in my phone after we went to the Zone.

From Cal Pal :)  I'll pick u up at 7 tomorrow.

I smiled and texted back.

To Cal Pal :)  K.  See u tomorrow

Tomorrow was a Tuesday, so I had to tell Mom that I'd be gone.  Tuesday was the day that Mom and Dad both worked late, so I usually made dinner.

"Mom," I said as I walked into the kitchen where she was handwashing a pan.  "I'm going on a date tomorrow at 7, so I'll make dinner, but I won't eat it with you"

She stopped cleaning the pan. She raised her eyebrows.  "A date?" she questioned.

I nodded.  "Yup."

"With who?" she wondered.

"Calum Hood, he's a boy at my school," I explained.  She laughed.

"I know who Calum Hood is, honey." Then her face got serious.  "Just be careful with him."

"I will, Mom. Night," I said and headed upstairs to my room.
