***CASSIE***

Because I had no idea where we were going on this date, I threw on a black dress and stud jewelry. I hoped it wouldn't be too dressy. After making dinner for my parents, I sat by the front door on my phone. Jenna and I haven't talked since the bathroom conversation at school. I felt horrible for what I'd said. It was so cruel and I know Jenna was sensitive in that area of conversation. God I'm so stupid.

Then my mind wandered to the topic of that argument. What if Calum didn't actually like me? What if he was just using me like he had so many other girls? Those thoughts were the things going through my head when Calum Hood pulled up in my driveway. I was going to just walk to the car, but Calum got out of his car wearing a tuxedo and carrying a bouquet of flowers. Now I'm glad I'd dressed up more. He knocked on the door and I opened it with a smile.

"Wow. You look amazing," he said.

I blushed. "Thanks."

He handed me the flowers. "For you, my lady." Then he grabbed my hand and escorted me to his car.

"Wow. Such a gentleman," I teased. "So where are we going?"

"Ahh. It's still a surprise," he said.

I groaned. "When are you gonna tell me?" I whined.

"When we get there," he replied.

"Well drive faster."

"I'm going!" he said.

Finally, after probably 15 minutes of me bouncing in my seat, Calum parked the car. We were at the lake where the Zone was, but I was very confused why. Calum didn't led me towards the Zone, but led me the opposite way.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see," he said with a smirk. After walking a while Calum said, "Ok, close your eyes."

I obeyed and I felt his hand cover my face. The other hand was leading me by the waist. He walked me a little farther and then stopped. I didn't want him to take his hands off me, but when he did, all my thoughts were forgotten.

On the beach was a romantic table with candles and flowers all around. A gazebo roof hung over it. There was a path of small rocks leading to the table. It looked like something from The Bachelor.

"Oh my God, Calum. Tell me you didn't really do all this for me," I said, turning to look at him. For the first time, Calum seemed shy.

"Do you like it?" he asked.

"Yes! Calum, it's beautiful!" I squealed. He relaxed a little bit and then said, "Shall we?" I

nodded and took his hand as he lead me to the table.
