"WHAT DO YOU MEAN" fills my ears and I groan shifting around on the couch, "shut up" I manage to say in my raspy morning voice, "WHEN YOU NOD YOUR HEAD YES" the 6 of my friends sing, more like shout, can they seriously not. I lazily get off of the couch and follow the delicious scent that's filling my nose, I walk into the kitchen to see everyone all jumpy and making pancakes? "morning sunshine" Anthony jokes, "how'd you guys figure where everything was to make pancakes?" I say half a sleep leaning on the doorway, "Jenn your house is way tiny, it was no problem finding what we needed" Lauren says, eh I guess she has a point. "Oh and someone named Luis called you" Andrea says and I jump up immediately waking up and running to my phone and go into my room to call my boss back.

I tap on his contact and pace back and forth nervously waiting for him to answer, "Jennifer" my boss says sharply, "sorry about that sir I barely woke up" I say embarrassed face palming myself, "I understand, but today you won't have to enter work untill 4:30 pm" he says cheerfully and I feel relief fly off my shoulders, "alright thank you boss" I say and he hangs up the phone. I go back into the kitchen and see everyone eating, I get my pancake and sit with everyone, "thanks for the breakfast" I tell them, "no problem jenny" they say.

I close the door waving bye to everyone, I quickly pick up my small home and go to my room picking out something to wear for the day. After I basically empty out my whole closet I end up picking out a green jacket, black shirt, blue jeans with cut outs, and white shoes (outfit on top picture). I throw that on and put my hair into a messy ponytail.Once I'm finally satisfied with my appearance I grab my phone and decide to go out for a walk since the weather is nice and fresh cuz fall.

I put earbuds in my ears and begin to walk, since I don't live to far from where most of the restaurants and all that are I decided I should walk by there and explore a bit more, it's good exercise anyways. 'Here' by Alessia Cara starts playing and just as I was about to cross the street I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around to face a guy. And I notice something about him that quickly catches my eye. His curls, they look familiar, memories of yesterday flood into my mind. No way, it can't be, I didn't even see the guys face clearly yesterday and there is probably a million guys with the same ha-, "excuse me??" the guy says snapping me back to reality and I shake my head.

"I'm sorry, uh yes" I say awkwardly pulling the earbuds out my ears, "do you know where 2938 Livindle is at?(made that random address up,not real)I barely moved there yesterday and I came out here to explore and kind of got lost" he says chuckling and scratches the back of his neck giving me a nervous smile, "ya I actually live in the house next to it" I say breath taken, all this is hard to take in, so this is my neighbor, "oh you're my neighbor wow what a coincidence" he says laughing surprisingly and I do too, but then stops and a strange facial expression comes upon his face, uh oh no do I have something stuck in my teeth, maybe a pimple I didn't see? what if I just look deformed, or is my laugh just hide-

"Have we met before I feel like I've seen you before?..." he says slowly curiosity taking over his face, omf it is him! "I'm Jenn, Jenn Mcallister" I say playing it off like yesterday and he laughs, "it is you!!" he says, I guess he was thinking the same thing, "I'm Jc you're new neighbor" he says and that smacks me in the face, hahahahah what's going on.

We are now walking back to our houses exploring the neighborhood together, "I wanted to talk with you more yesterday" he says looking at me genuinely, I cringe remembering the reason I left him, "well I think you got pretty busy when that girl came" I say laughing a little and looking away, "ohhh sorry about that but that's my girlfriend, Lia Marie Johnson" he says looking away, speak about awkward. "oh she's really pretty" I say, and lucky. "you should meet her, she's at my house right now" he says looking back at me and I smile, "I would love too, you guys live together?" I say, "no she just came to check out the place" he says shrugging and we stop in the middle of his and my place.

I laugh finding this quite funny and odd, "ok how about you come knock at my door acting like we've never met, so we properly greet each other" he says and I give him a thumbs up, he runs into his house and I walk up the steps and take a deep breath before I knock only because I'm quite nervous to meet his girlfriend, he opens the door and we both chuckle but stop when Lia appears next to him, and let me just tell you, she didn't seem to pleased, "Hi I'm Jenn Mcallister, your neighbor" I say and shake Jcs hand and I hold it out to Lia and she surprisingly smiles and shakes it. "Hi I'm Lia, nice to meet you" she says in a high squeaky voice, she's really pretty, tall, skinny, and has nice long blonde hair, no wonder Jc likes her. "Hi I'm Jc" he says laughing and smiling at me pretty wide that his cheeks turned chubby, and I find that really cute making me want to swoon, "well nice to meet you two" I say smiling and they wave as Jc goes in and Lia follows behind him.

What a little ugh I could just scream. Of course Lia had to be those type of girlfriends, she literally gave me the dirtiest look ever and then closed the door. So all that niceness was just an act, psh of course. My phone rings just as I close the door, "Hey Bex what's up" I say sitting on the couch about to kick off my shoes, "I'm in front of your house, lets go get lunch" she says and I cheer while running back outside and into her car.

We go into subway and and sit down by the window and I tell her everything that happened, "no fucking way" she says drinking her soda, I nod and take a bite out of my sandwich, "lucky lucky me" I say.
