just a short fic.

Percy and Annabeth were curled up on the sofa. Annabeth was reading - as usual, and Percy was taking care of their two year old daughter.

"Da! More!"

"You want to hear more stories? Okay," Percy continued with his time fighting Kronos.

He made it extra hilarious, swinging Cass around the room as he told the story. He really did have fun with Cass.

"That big bad meanie wanted to kill me, but I killed him first!" Yelled Percy in triumph.

"Percy, stop exaggerating, Cass, daddy isn't spiderman or superman. He's just a Seaweed Brain," Annabeth laughed with Cass.

For a two year old, she was pretty smart. She had the perfect blonde curls along with sea green eyes. Percy could already tell he'd be pretty busy disciplining boys when she turned sixteen.

Percy had finally set Cass down, and Cass climbed on to Percy lap, sleeping. She had her face at the crook of his neck, and Annabeth was just right beside him. Nothing could make things wrong.

After about fifteen minutes, Percy felt something wet on his shirt.

"Annabeth, there's.. there's..."

"Drool, yes, Cass drools."

Percy remembered telling Cass privately that Annabeth's first words to him was: you drool when you sleep. He smiled at the memory as she laughed at her parents.

"She gets that from you," a smile tugged at Annabeth's lips as she remembered the memory too.
