"Jodie, let's build a snowman!"

The said brunette stared at Cry with slight bewilderment.

"...Why?"

"'Cuz it's snowing, duh!"

Jodie's eye twitched slightly as she set her rabbit down.

"...Fine..."

Cry grinned as he pumped his tiny fists into the air.

~~

"You don't know how to make a snowman!?"

Cry placed a hand over his chest and gasped dramatically for emphasis; the brunet chuckled inwardly when he saw the slight irritation in Jodie's eyes--despite her stoic expression.

"...Yes."

Cry grinned as he hopped over to her.

"Then I'll teach you!"

The brunet missed the surprised look on Jodie's face.

~~

"...Why are you so nice to me?"

Cry paused in his snowman-building--it looked like a big sup-guy.

"Hm?  What do you mean?"

Jodie bit her lower lip as she played with the freshly-fallen snow at her feet.

"You don't think I'm weird?"

Cry gave her a brief knowing look before quickly walking over to her; he gave her a warm hug.

"Not at all, Jodie!  I think you're pretty awesome!"

Cry grinned as he held the other at arm's length, chuckling when he saw the widening of Jodie's eyes.

The brunet's eyes drifted to the spirit floating around her.

'Well, Aiden's not displeased, so I'm not doing anything wrong yet.'  "Come on!"  Cry picked up a pile of snow. "This snowman isn't going to build itself!  Help me out!"

For the first time--ever since he woke up...

...Cry saw Jodie smile.

A real, warm, and happy smile.

Cry inwardly pumped his fists in the air at the little accomplishment.
