"Guuuuys~?  Cry, Pewds, Ken~?"

A ravenet with pink-dyed hair entered Cry's house.

He pushed his glasses up and inclined his head.

"Are you guys trying to jump-scare me!?"

He walked further into the house and saw that a sea-green light was coming from Cry's room.

"....Cry...?"

There was a crash behind the ravenet; he spun around and saw a flash of sea-green.

Before he disappeared to who knows where, he heard a chilling familiar, yet unfamiliar, voice.

"H-Hahaha!  Y-You're all ju-just making it w-worse for him!  He'll d-die quicker now.  H-How exciting!"

'Hm....it's starting to spread out more....'

Cry looked at the glowing pattern that covered his neck and the top half of his left arm.

The brunet frowned underneath his mask.

He reached over and grabbed his jacket on the side, looking away from the broken mirror in front of him.

They were still in the world of Dishonored, but the gamer sensed that he and his group would leave soon.

Knock, knock.

"Sir Cry?  Are you in there?"

The said brunet blinked, recognizing the voice.

'Corvo?' "Yeah, I'm in here, Corvo.  What's up?"

"Ah...well....I wish to speak with you on the roof."

'Hm...he suspects that you know something about his future.'

Cry jumped slightly and glanced around the rundown bathroom he was in.

'....Svart?'

'Yes.  I am here.'

'Geez!  You scared me.'

'I apologize.  But I was also testing out this mental link that we both now share.  You should also go now.  You have been silent too long, and Corvo is starting to worry.'

'Gotcha.'

Cry pulled his jacket on and pushed the door open.

Corvo stood there, shifting from foot to foot; Cry chuckled mentally at how nervous the other was.

The ravenet bowed his head slightly at Cry.

"Can I...speak with you--privately--on the rooftop, Sir Cry?  I know it's the middle of the night, but.....it's a bit important to me."

Cry nodded, smiling underneath his mask.

Taking in the shorter's aura, Corvo could tell that Cry wasn't mad at all.

The two headed up to the rooftop.

~~

Cry swung his legs over the edge of the roof, kicking them lightly in the air as Corvo simply stood next to him.

"....Sir Cry...it is apparent that you know me, yet I do not know you.  Tell me.....are you from the future?"

Cry chuckled softly.
