Chapter 43: HOTLAND

Cry wiped his brow with his free hand; he sighed as sweat continued to pour from his temple.

"Yikes. I'm gonna be roasted by the end of this."

The two headed back to Sans' booth, finding the short skeleton awake; Frisk huffed at the other.

*How could you sleep through all of that?*

Sans shrugged and winked.

"I guess you could say....I was bone-tired."

Frisk half-giggled and half-groaned at the joke; Cry grinned and laughed.

Sans also widened his grin.

"Anyways, would you guys like a hotdog?"

Frisk nodded and reached into her bag for some GOLD, but Sans waved a hand in the air.

"Hey, hey. It's on the house, kiddo."

Frisk gave a grateful smile to the short skeleton and took one.

The brunette then noticed.....that there was a cat face on it.....

Frisk rose an eyebrow at Sans who snickered.

"Whoops!  Looks like I gave you a hotcat instead."

Cry laughed at the little joke; Sans gave a another hotdog.

"Here ya' go, a free refund for my mistake."

Frisk suddenly pouted; Sans rose his bone-brow.

"....You want another one?  Well....who am I to deny a customer?  But....your inventory seems full so..."

Sans reached over the counter and placed a hotdog on Frisk's head.

"Here ya' go.  On the house."

Frisk smiled; Sans blinked.

"Another one?"

*Another one!*

Sans glanced over at Cry, who was snickering.

//(29 More Hotdogs Later)//

Sans stood on the roof of his sentry station and sweatdropped down at Frisk.

"I'm sure 30 is just going overboard, Frisk."

The said brunette giggled; Cry started to eat one of the hotdogs he asked for himself.

Frisk then ran around, destroying the tower of hotdogs on her head.

Sans sighed exasperatedly, speaking dramatically.

"Oh noooo!  My hotdogs!"

Frisk giggled even more.

Cry chuckled catching the brunette and ruffled her hair.

"Al~right.  That's enough.  We need to get going now, okay?"

Frisk whined before nodding.

Cry left some GOLD despite Sans' protests; the gamer grinned.

"Don't worry, Sansy.  I just want to thank you for the food is all."
