Chapter Thirteen: The Mating What?

Arabella's P.O.V

"Where are we going?" I ask Klaus as he speeds threw what looks like the country. "Where going to one of my homes that I have out here and don't worry about Imogen she'll be staying at my other home near here I already told Stephen where to take her and Kol earlier." Klaus said before stopping in front of a cute little cottage surrounded by flowers. "I hope you like it we'll be staying here for a few days." Klaus says while putting me down. "It's beautiful." I say while looking around. "Wait until you see the inside." Klaus says while opening the door and stepping inside carrying my doufel bag which I had forgotten I had with me. "Wow." I say as soon as I enter the gorgeous little cottage. "I'm glad you like it." Klaus says before disappearing upstairs give me the chance to look around. "So what's your opinion on the place?" Klaus asked as he returned from upstairs. "It's beautiful." I say while looking over at him. "I'm glad you like it, would you like to see our room?" He asked while motioning towards the stairs. "Sure." I said while taking his out stretched hand. Once we entered the bedroom my mouth fell open in shock but I quickly closed it. The room was white with matching curtains and bed sheets, it looked like a room that was made for a honeymoon. "Do you like it?" Klaus asks while wrapping his arms around my waist. "I love it, it reminds me of a honeymoon suit." I say while walking over to the bed and running her hand over the soft fabric. "Arabella, I need to talk to you about something." He says while walking over to her and sitting down on the bed and patting the spot next to him. I cautiously sit down next to him slightly worried about what he wanted to talk about.

Klaus's P.O.V

I sat next to her nervously and bit my lip. I didn't know how to explain to my mate about the mating process and how it works. I let out a small sigh and look over at her feeling my nervousness wash away. I hated feeling so vonerable and weak but for her it was worth it, I'd give anything to keep her by my side for all eternity. "Bella, I need to tell you a bit more about mates." I say holding her small hand in my own and rubbing my thumb over her knuckles. "There's this thing called the mating process, it's where we mark each other as ours and then something else happens." I say trailing off towards the end not wanting to tell her the last part. "And what happens after?" She asks curiously making me bite my lip shyly and look away from her towards the balcony doors. "We um, we have to make love." I say quietly still not looking at her and staring at the balcony doors like there the most interesting thing in the world, which to me Arabella was the most interesting thing in the world, but I couldn't bare to look at her without blushing. I felt her hand under my chin and let her turn my head to face her. She pressed her lips to mine and I immediately kissed her back wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her closer to me. "Don't be so shy Nicklaus, I may not be ready for us to complete the mating process now but I will be soon, just give me time." She says brushing her lips against mine each time she spoke making me shiver in delight while my inner beast howled in joy from having his mate with him after so long. "Take as long as you like my love, i'll wait forever for you." I say meaning every word I said. I would wait for her forever, beacause she was worth the wait, I had givin up on finding her a long time ago and she was deffinetily worth the wait. She is my only love and i'll protect her with my life before I let someone take her from me.
