Chapter Three: I'm a Hybrid? Cool

Arabella's: POV

"Bella come on i've already got your bag in my car." Imogen said from outside the bathroom door. "I'm coming, one sec." I say while putting my hair brush down and walking out of the bathroom. "Ok let's go." I say while following Imogen out the door passed my Mom who was compelled to let me skip a week of school and go off with Imogen.

"Imogen I was wondering when i'd see you again." A lady said from behind the counter of the bar that we were currently in. "Good to see you to Gloria." Imogen said while taking a seat at the bar infront of Gloria. "Whose this?" Gloria asked while nodding her head in my direction. "Oh where are my manners Gloria this is my best friend Arabella, Arabella this is Gloria a witch that owes me a favor." Imogen said while motioning me to take a seat beside her.

"What do you want to know?" Gloria asked while watching me out of the corner of her eye. "I need to know who Klaus is." Imogen said getting strait to the point as I heard the name Klaus a again a shiver went up my spine. "Why do you want to know who he is?" Gloria asked while giving me a strange look she must have noticed me shiver when Imogen said his name. "We got some intel that he's after our friend and we just wanna know who were up against." Imogen said while staring at the bottle of burben behind Gloria.

"I'll tell you what you wanna know but first i'd like to talk to Arabella alone." This immediately caught Imogen's attention. "Ok then, I'll wait outside, Bella if you need me just yell and I'll be here." Imogen said while standing up and exiting the bar. "Why did you wanna talk to me?" I asked as soon as Imogen closed the door behind her. "I need to test something, give me your hand." Gloria said while holding out her hand. "Ok." I say while hesitantly placing my hand in hers.

"I knew it." She whispered as soon as our hands touched. "Knew what?" I asked while pulling my hand back. "How much of your family heritage do you know about?" Gloria asked while staring at me with a strange emotion in her eyes. "Um not much, my dad was never in the picture and my mom doesn't know really anything about our family, why?" I ask while standing up and inching away from her.

"I can't believe I lived long enough to meet you, tell me have you started drinking blood yet or have you shifted yet wait you haven't killed anyone of course you haven't shifted yet." "Ok your crazy and I need to leave." I say while turning around and running to the doors only to find them locked.

"Wait i'm sorry, I know I must sound crazy but you have to believe me when I say your not human." "How do you know?" "I'm a very old and powerful witch I know a hybrid when I see one." "Hybrid?" "Yes, come take a seat and i'll explain everything, Imogen you can come back in besides me telling your friend about who she is this will also tell you about who Klaus is." As soon as she said this the doors flung open and Imogen had her hand wrapped around Gloria's throat. "Imogen no, let her go." I say while grabbing Imogen and throwing her across the room off of Gloria.

"H-how did I do that?" I asked while staring at Imogen who was looking at me with wide eyes from across the room. "You know the truth now, your vampire instincts are kicking in and you protected me because you know you need me, now are you calm Imogen, Arabella is going to need your help." Imogen gave a slight nod before using her vampire speed to sit at the bar with the bottle of burben. I took a seat next to her while Gloria made her way to the back to grab something.

"Sorry for throwing you I was only going to try and pull you off of her." "It's ok, besides i'm more afraid of what were about to find out." After an hour of explaining everything I had discovered that i'm a werewolf/vampire hybrid like Klaus except my werewolf side doesn't have a spell cast on it making it dorment and that we had to protect Elena so he couldn't break the curse meaning I need my inner vampire and werewolf to awaken quickly. I mean who better to take on a hybrid then another hybrid.

"Come on were staying in a hotel for the night, when did Gloria say that your vampire side was supossed to come out?" Imogen asked while pulling into the hotel parking lot. "Tomorrow, the night of the decade dance, we can't go back yet I don't want them to see me in transition." "Don't worry we won't, we'll wait until your done transitioning to go back." "Ok, go ahead and call Damon, we might be back a little later then expected." Imogen shot me a greatful smile before leaving me to go call Damon I let out a small sigh wishing I could find someone to love me like Imogen and Damon love each other. "I need to get a boyfriend." I say while shaking my head and going into the hotel room.
