Chapter Five: Meeting Klaus or Alaric

Arabella's: POV     

When we arrived at the boarding house Imogen handed me my bag and walked me up to the door as soon as I tried to follow her inside I was stopped and couldn't enter. "Uh Imogen i'm kinda stuck here." I said from the doorway. "DAMON COME INVITE BELLA IN!" Imogen yelled before Damon appeared beside her. "Why can't you just come in like normal." Damon asked. "I'll let Imogen explain everything now please invite me in your shower is calling my name." I say while pulling the blanket tighter around my body. "Ok Arabella please come in." Damon said while smirking at what I was wearing I rolled my eyes before using my vampire speed to go upstairs and in Damons bathroom to take a long hot shower. I let out a sigh before pulling on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt before returning downstairs to see the whole gang in the living room apart from Alaric. "Hey guys what did we miss while we were gone?" I asked getting everyone's attention in the room I noticed Stephen pull Elena slightly behind him. "I'm guessing Imogen told y'all what I am." I say while looking down at the floor kinda hurt that Stephen didn't trust me with one of my best friends. "Bella." Elena said from infront of me I looked up and noticed Stephen watching me making sure I didn't hurt her. "I'm still me El just more capable of protecting myself now i'm kinda hungry so Stephen mind showing me where you keep the blood bags?" I ask looking pointedly at Stephen knowing he wanted to speak with me. "I'm not going to kill El, Steph you know that she's one of my best friends." I said as Stephen opened the fridge full of blood bags and handing me one. "I know Bell i'm just worried about her did they tell you what Klaus did?" Stephen asked while I drank some of the blood I shivered at his name and shook my head no. "Klaus is in Alaric's body and can get Elena whenever he wants we even faked Bonnie's death just so we could still try and find a way to kill him." Stephen said while runing his hands threw his hair. "I can stay the night with her and protect her Steph I mean who better to take on a hybrid then another hybrid." I said while finishing my lunch and runing back upstairs. "Elena were having a sleep over at your house, Imogen is bringing the blood and, Caroline is bringing the movies and leave Jenna to me." I say while linking arms with El and pulling her towards the door. "Oh and be there by six you have two hours Caroline good luck." I pulled Elena outside but not before grabing my dufel bag. "Uh El are you gonna invite me in?" I asked as El entered her house. "Oh yeah sorry, Arabella please come in." "Thank you." I say while walking in and heading up to El's room. "I'll get started on the snacks ok." El said from downstairs. "Ok!" yelled back before setting my duffel bag and grabbing a few blankets from the hall closet. After about thirty minutes I heard voices coming from downstairs I took my time going downstairs listening in on the conversation. "Did you have a good time Aunt Jenna?" El asked. "Oh yes Alaric was a true gentelman." Jenna replied. "Mother always taught me to be a gentlemen towards a lady." Alaric said I quickly used my vamp speed to get to the hallway before walking at human pace into the kitchen. "Hey Aunt Jenna." I say while taking a seat at the bar. "That explains all the snacks so tell me whose coming over tonight?" "Imogen and Caroline." "Alright." Jenna said while turning her attention back to Alaric. "Aunt Jenna whose your friend?" I ask hinting at Elena to try and get rid of Alaric or should I say Klaus. "Oh this is my boyfriend Alaric." Aunt Jenna said while smiling slightly I could now feel Alaric's gaze burning holes in my head send pleasent shivers down my spine. "Haven't you meet Alaric already Arabella?" Imogen asked from behind me I glanced over my shoulder to see her smirking at Alaric I knew right away that this wasn't going to be good. "I haven't meet him properly Imogen." I say while standing up and walking over to her. "Why don't you come upstairs and help me bring down the blankets and pillows so we can camp out in the living room." I say trying to keep her from doing something she might regret later. "I'll be up in a minute, I need to ask Aunt Jenna something." Imogen said while handing me her bag and walking into the kitchen I let out a small sigh before leaving to go upstairs feeling Alaric watch me as I go.
