"Lily?" Alice called softly.
I sniffled. I was lying on my bed hugging a pillow tight to my chest. My hair was a mess and my cheeks were damp from crying.
"Are you okay?" Marlene asked.
"I don't know." I said my, lip quivering. They sat down on the bed next to me.
"I thought he was my friend." I croaked.
"Don't even think about what Snivellus said." Marlene said.
"Yeah, you're beautiful and strong and the greatest witch I know." Alice said, stroking my hair.
"You're amazing Lily, and he doesn't deserve you as a friend." Marlene said.
I sat up and hugged them. They are my real friends.

James's point of view:
"I have to apologize to to Lily." I said pacing the dormitory floor.
"So just apologize." Sirius said lazily.
"It's not that simple. Think! What do girls like?" I asked.
"Flowers." Peter said.
"And chocolate." Said Remus.
"Kissing." Sirius said.
"You should write her a letter." Remus said.
"Good idea!" I said.
I grabbed a quill and parchment.
I have absolutely no idea what to write.
"What should I write?" I asked.
"Dear Lily" Remus said.
"Then what?" I asked.
"I am deeply sorry for my childish behavior."
"Girls also love compliments." Sirius said.
When the letter was finished, it read:
Dear Lily,
I am deeply sorry for my childish behavior. Please please please forgive me. You are the hottest girl at Hogwarts. I love you! Please go out with me!
Sincerely,
James

Lily's point of view:
I was the next morning and we were walking out of breakfast.
"Evans! Evans!"
Ugh. Not again.
"Come on, I don't want to talk to that prat." I said.
"Evans here I wrote you this!" James said.
Without reading it I ripped the letter in halve and stomped off.
"Evans wait!" James called.
I walked across the grounds with Alice and Marlene.
"Lily Evans!" James's voice boomed.
I turned around. He was standing in the middle of the grounds. He was using a voice loudening charm.
"I know I've been a huge prat. I'm sorry. I know you find me annoying sometimes. But I will never give up because I love you Evans."
It's true he was annoying and a prat and overly confident, but he actually was kind of cute. I small smile spread across my face. No, I can not fall for James Potter.
