Marlene's point of view:
There had been more and more deatheater attacks. They've been trying to convince pureblood families to join them. My parents were worried out of their minds.
It was the week I was supposed to be going back to Hogwarts. I was eating breakfast with my parents. Our house elf Penny appeared in front of us.
"T-there's someone here to see you." She said, trembling. Her big eyes were filled with fear.
"Got to your room Marlene." My mother said.
"What is this about?" I asked.
"Go to your room." She repeated. My parents looked scared.
"Fine." I said.
I'm 16! I don't understand why they treat me like a child. I stomped up the stairs. At the top of the stairs I stopped and peered down. My father opened the door. A man in long dark robes entered. He had a strange tattoo on his arm. I gasped. It was a dark mark.
The man spoke "Good morning, I assume you know why I'm here."
"We do, the answer is No!" My mother said defiantly.
"You think you're being brave?" The man said. He let out a mocking laugh. "You're no better than common mudbloods."he spat "The Dark Lord is very powerful. It is not wise to make an enemy of him."
"We do not fear Voldemort or any of his cowardly followers." My father retorted.
The man's face was contorted with anger.
"How dare you insult the dark lord!" The man shouted.
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave." My father said.
The man smirked coldly. "You may want to reconsider your answer. The dark lord will not be happy. It would be a shame if something were to happen to that pretty little daughter of yours."

He's talking about me.
My mother gasped and grabbed my fathers hand.
"Have a lovely day." The man said insincerely and left.
My mother started crying. She was always so strong, I'd never seen her crying, she looked so vulnerable. My father embraced her.
"It's alright, we won't let anyone hurt her." My father said reassuringly.

Lily's point of view:
I couldn't wait to go back to Hogwarts. I love seeing my parents, but I missed my friends.
I got up and got dressed to go down to breakfast. The smell of bacon frying wafted from the kitchen.
"Good morning love!" My dad said kissing my cheek.
"Good morning darling" my mum said smiling.
"Good morning." I replied.
Petunia glared at me. I was used to it by now.
"I have some big news!" Petunia said. "My boyfriend is coming round for tea."
"That's wonderful!" My mother said.
"Want everything to go perfectly." Petunia said. "Try to act normal." She said to me.
After breakfast I went upstairs and wrote to Marlene and Alice. I tied the letters to my snow white owl Hermia and watched her fly away. I stepped out into the hallway. Petunia was admiring herself in the mirror.
She was wearing far too much makeup in my opinion.
She spotted me and frowned.
"You better not mess this up for me you little freak." She threatened.
"Girls!" My mum called.
We walked downstairs. The doorbell rang.
"He's here!" Petunia gasped. She smoothed her skirt and went to open the door.
"Everyone, this is Vernon!" Petunia said beaming.
"Nice to meet you." Vernon said.
He was on the larger side and was rather round looking.
"Your house is lovely Mrs. Evans." Vernon said.
"Why thank you! Please come sit." My mum said.
We sat down at the table.  Vernon was quite boring and had a dry sense of humor. I could tell my dad agreed.
"Did Vernon tell you he's a wrestler? He's so strong." Petunia gushed.
"That's fascinating." My dad said with false sincerity.
"Lily, do you still talk to that Potter boy?" My dad asked.
"Yes I still talk to James." I said.
"He's a charming boy. He's got a great sense of humor."
"Yeah." I said.
"He fancies you quite a bit."
"I suppose." I said blushing.
"Where do you go to school Lily?" Vernon asked.
Petunia's face went pale. She was utterly terrified her boyfriend would find out she had a weird sister.
"Vernon!" Petunia said nervously "why don't you tell everyone the joke you told me the other day." Petunia was desperately trying to change the subject.
"Alright," Vernon said.
Right at that moment, a grey owl fly straight at us through the open window. Petunia screeched and clutched Vernon. The owl dropped a letter from Marlene in my lap and flew out the window.
"Who wants pie?" My mum asked.
