Chapter 15- Tophs Brother

As soon as we got down to the pond, Tophs brother came. He wasn't really what I was expecting. I also sort of thought he might be blind too- (stupidly, I know).
"Hello Ma'am," he says.
"Don't call me ma'am," I say, a little too harshly.
"Katara, then," his eyes go stern.
His eyes kind of looked stern in the first place. They were a deep green, but lined sharply with this reddish black color. It was kinda cool. His hair was a plain black, swept up with the sides buzzed short. He had chiseled jaw bone and thick eyes brows and lips. His nose was actually a roundish shape. Was he attractive? Sure. As attractive as Zuko? Do I even need to answer?
"What's your name?," I ask.
"Sosuke," he answers.
Sosuke???? His name sounds like a soaked sponge!!
"That's very...unique,"
"I know, it's horrible,"
"Really, it's fine," I laugh, wanting to get out of this conversation. "So I suppose you brought a lot of stuff, I can help you get situated,"
"He's my roommate, I can take care of it Kat." Zuko pops in.
"Don't call me Kat!," I try to make myself appear angry, but I knew my face was mad blushing.
"Well, your boyfriend seems pretty set on helping me, so it's okay,"
"He's not my- " I almost forget for a second- "I mean he is, but we're not like...I don't know. Uh...I got to do some stuff so.. Nice meeting, Sosuke,"
"Maybe you're just tired Katara," Zuko says quietly.
Please tell me I didn't hurt him.
"I really am," I say.
Zuko and Sosuke start walking towards their room. I wonder if they would even get along. Sosuke seemed like a fun but stern person. And Then there's quiet and nice Zuko. I don't know why, but Sosuke just gives me a weird feeling in my stomach.
Zuko and Sosuke were in their room and Sokka and Aang weren't anywhere to be seen. I wanted to talk to Toph about Sosuke, so I pop in her room for a bit.
"Hey Toph,"
She jumps, wrapping a towel around her.
I cover my eyes immediately.
"I'm so sorry I had no idea-"
Toph smiles. "It's okay, I just thought I smelled a bit, so I took a quick bath"
Never thought I would see Toph naked.
"I just came to ask about your brother,"
"Sukey? He's alright."
"Alright?,"
"Well, before our mom died and we were left with my sorry excuse for a dad, he left. Without me. Imagine being alone, then imagine being alone and blind. It sucks, and he's never given me an apology, but I just can't hold a grudge against him. Plus, I kinda missed him,"
"Oh...I thought your dad was a good person,"
"I don't really want to talk about that. But there is one thing I want you to know," Toph got a little quiet.
"Y-yeah?," worry crept over me.
"Sukey is known for getting a little too close with his guy friends. So make sure Zuko watches out,"
Wait. What?
"Haha funny Toph," I say.
She laughs a little but says nothing.

Then I here some screaming giggles from the next room
