Sylis POV
Frantic whimpers woke me from my slumber, confusion consumed me as i saw the blanket from my bed way laid on top of me. I looked towards the bed, seeing Atticus on the floor making my confusion grow.
His body shook, his whimpers slowly turned to soft cries. I stood up letting the blanket pool at my feet, slowly I walked over to him and bent down.
I gently caressed he's cheek with my hand, slowly calming him down. As his eyes fluttered open I dropped my hand next to me and stood up to my full heighth.
"Why are you on the floor?" I asked tilting my head to the side in question.
"Atticus no deserve your bed and covers. Atticus is worthless and bad for taking your things. Atticus accept punishment." He said showing his neck, submitting to me.
I sighed angrily and bent down, scooping him up into my arms. I placed him in the bed and grabbed the blanket that still laid by the chair and covered him with it.
"Stay here I'll be back." I clipped taking the tray from last night.
I walked out of the room and headed towards the kitchen, the soup swishing in the bowl as I walked. I saw the Luna sitting at the bar with a cup of coffee in her hands as I entered the kitchen. I felt her eyes on me as I sat the bowl in the sink, setting the tray on the counter.
I grabbed a clean bowl from the cabinet and a can of microwaveable soup. Her eyes burned holes in my back as she stared at me, her aura leaking into the air.
"Luna I would appreciate it if you would stop staring at me." I deadpanned pressing the time in on the soup.
"How is he?" She asked.
"He's weak and terrified like yesterday." I said turning to face her.
"Is he scared of you?"
"He's scared of a lot of things." I stated and grabbed the tray from beside the sink.
"He used to be a happy child. Its ashamed that light in his eyes is gone." She said softly as if in a trance of a memory.
"You've two met before?" I asked taking the soup from the microwave and pouring the soup into the bowl.
"Yes, we have. He was around four years old, I was about seven. I remember him running up to me while I was in wolf form and petting my head calling me big puppy." She paused with a giggle." I was a rouge at that time and I think he knew it as well but that never stopped him. He was sweet and took me to his parents, they helped me find my parents again. I could look at him and see both of his parents, the perfect concoction of them. I just wished I knew what happened." She said, her voice thick and laced with sorrow.
"That's why you felt so strongly about him, you've met before." I said placing the bowl on to the try and grabbing a glass.
"Yes, that's one of the reasons. The other is anybody with a heart would." She said, her voice turning cold.
"Well then I must not have a heart. There fore I can't and won't accept him." I said walking to my room.
"Away! Leave alone!" I heard Atticus scream.
I picked up my pace and rushed into the room, meting with a cowering Atticus. His hands pressed flat against his head, covering his ears.
"Atticus knows worthless! Atticus knows mate hates!" He screamed tears slipping down his cheeks.
Quickly I sat the bowl on the dresser and walked over to him, grabbing his hands.
" Atticus who are you talking to?" I asked sternly.
