Atticus POV

"Atticus, Atticus, Atticus." The alpha scolded. " Why won't you scream?" He asked amusement in his voice as he watched me, curled in a shaking ball on the cell floor, blood leaking from my nose and lip.

I only whimpered in response, causing him to chuckle. His body towered over me at his full height.

He walked off returning a minute later, a crack was heard then followed by my scream as cold leather strips bit into my back.

The alpha chuckled and whipped me to his content. I could feel blood trickling down my back as I laid on my stomach, tears streaming down my face from the pain.

"Worthless mutt." He spat.

With one quick kick to the side he left the cell. I cried in pain as I tried to sit up, failing back onto my stomach, my body shook with exhaustion and pain.

I spit the blood that built in my mouth out onto the dirt floor. I should have been healed by now, but the lack of food and use of wolfsbane wouldn't allow it.

I laid there until I could hear faint screams from upstairs. The sounded full of pain and fear which made me smirk. The pack was being attacked and the could now feel the pain the caused me. They could feel the fear of not knowing if you're gonna make it or not.

I laid on the floor and heard the door slam open. I sighed and welcomed death as the growl erupted from the light in the hall.

"Mate." The gruff voice spat making me freeze.

I lifted my head only to see a black shadow stalk towards me, glowing golden eyes glaring at me. A hand came out and wrapped around my throat. I screamed as the person slammed me into a wall, sounds I've never heard of before slipped past my lips as the cuts pressed against the wall.

" I Sylis Black reject my mate." He spat in my face.

I screamed as my chest felt like it was being shreaded. I was panting as I was dropped to the floor. Black dots filled my vision as tried to focus on the built figure in front of me.

I gave up and the darkness consumed me.

I finally woke up once again on the cold ground, pain exploded with every movement. At this point I didn't care, I just laid on the floor of the cold dark cell. I didn't bother to try and get up, I just gave into voices that always seemed to linger and remind me I'm worthless.

Sometime passed and it was harder to stay awake, I keep slipping into the dots that seemed to surround my vision. Once again my eyes fluttered open, but this was different than the other times. I could hear voices and footsteps, I ignore it and think its just the vocies in my mind that taint me and laugh as I bleed out onto the floor.

I heard my cell door creak open, an audible gasp erupted from the silence.

"Who would do this to a child?" A female voice asked.

It sounded do sweet, soft, safe. I couldn't resist the urges to look up, slowly and weakly I looked up.

A scream erupted through the room, the beautiful brown haired woman stood there, looking at me in horror.

The dots quickly took over my vision and somehow I felt like a weight was lifted from my chest.

I realized this would be the last time I would wake up, I wouldn't have to suffer anymore.

I laid my head back down on the floor as I heard feet thunder down the staircase.

"Jackie?!" A male voice rang.

"H-he moved." The lady said shakily.

I heard feet walk to me as the dots consumed more of my sight. Something jabbed me in my side, directly on a cut making me scream in pain.

"Shit!" A male voice yelled in shock.

The actions of my screaming made the dots finally take over and a tear rolled down my face.

It was a tear of joy.

My eyes fluttered open and I was met with a bright light, but something was off, lifting my head I saw I was in a room and a sob escaped my lips.

No.

I was alive.

Everything felt numb as I looked down at my body, tears tumbling down my cheeks.

I lifted my hands and brought them to my face, curling my knees into my chest. I felt something on my arm, wiping my tears I saw it was a wire.

Quickly I ripped it out and yanked the thin blankets off of me and hopped off the bed falling to the ground as alarms rang through the building.

I tried to lift myself from the ground but I couldn't find the strength to do it, the door slammed open and my gaze snapped up to it.

The same woman from before stood there in shock, sorrow consuming her eyes. I don't want people to feel sorry form me! I deserved it! I don't deserve to be alive.

I felt hands wrap around my thin limbs as I was pulled into something.

"Jackie get away from him! He could be dangerous!" The male voice from before rang.

"Eric shut up!" She snipped.

"L-let die." I sobbed."don't want be here! Please!" I sobbed.

My body shook as the emotions spilled out of me.

"Sweetie calm down." Jackie cooed.

I struggled but weakly pushed away from her and fell back onto the floor, my black hair falling in front of my face.

A crack filled the air and I arched my back in pain, screaming into the air.

"Jackie!" The man yelled in fear and warning.

"Eric! He's shifting!" She cried.

Pain errupeted through me causing me to scream again.

"Jackie, you can't do anything. He might not even make it through his shift." Eric said softly as sobs filled the air mixing with my screams.

I panted as I laid back on the floor.

"E-end. Please." I begged before another wave of pain erupted through me.

The last thing I saw was a bright light, the last thing I heard was a woman crying and a man cooing her while I screamed.

Then I fell into oblivion.
