Chapter 6: Oh Dear!

CHAPTER 6-Oh dear

It was already 4:00 in the morning. I can't sleep anymore, I don't know if it's because of the bed as hard as a rock or about Luke's confession I went to the bathroom for a steamy bath, but unfortunately the hotel doesn't have a heater. From a steamy bath that I want I was force to have bone chilling cold shower. I went out of the bathroom still shivering, I took my rubber shoes and wear it. I'm wearing the yoga pants and tank tops that I got the other day. I also wore the sports bra that has been on my bag for a couple of days. I am ready for my early morning run to the dining lounge and eat my breakfast. Before going to the dining lounge and starts to pig out, I went to the balcony. The view from the balcony is priceless and picture perfect. The sunrise and the sea. I went back to the room and get my camera, I cannot let this beautiful view pass by. I took as much picture of the sunrise and even the cottages of the resort. It wasn't as bad as I thought of it at first. It was perfectly beautiful for me. I want to wake up Luke but he's still sleeping peacefully with his mouth wide open. I can put a lizard inside of it, and he wouldn't even notice. Of course, this is the perfect time for that sunrise selfie. Rotating my iPhone trying to get the my perfect angle with the sunrise and avoiding to show that double chin.

On the corners of my eyes I can see a moving object. I looked at it and it's not an object, it was Luke. He's already awake, standing inside the room without any clothes on. It was hard to focus on something if you're seeing a handsome guy walking around naked. Oh! thank you lord god, he finally picks the towel up and wrap it on his waist and went directly to the bathroom. I took my wallet and went outside of the room before he comes out of the bath room wearing a towel wrap on his head.

If the balcony inside the room is facing the sea side, the balcony outside the room is facing on a greenery view. I can see trees and mini park that has joggers and dog walkers. I can even see the island souvenir shop, it would be really cool if I would wear their products. Later perhaps once Luke is done taking a bath. Arms across my body, looking at the woman on the park doing high knees while running makes me tired. After a few more minutes, Luke came out of the room. Wearing his sweat shirt and gym shorts. Oh shit, I don't like this gut feeling.

"Good morning gorgeousness. Are you ready?" He asked.

"To eat? Hell yes." I said.

"No. Don't you exercise first before you eat?" He explained.

"I never, well, no. Not really." I said, wanting to run away from him.

"Well, were going to exercise today. Let's start our cardio by going down the stairs." He said, and leads the way.

"Pssh.. piece of cake." I lied. Going down the stairs a little bit faster than I usually do, already makes me perspire. We went out the resort and jogs out way to the mini park, I was just looking awhile ago. It was just a few minutes when we starts to jog and my feet are already complaining, the muscles on my legs were already burning. Exercise plus me doesn't really workout. I wanted to quit on the first cycle of jogging around the park, but I can't show big boy Luke that I'm a quitter. I'm already running after my breath, and I'm perspiring like I just went out of the shower. After our 5th cycle of jogging, I can't take it anymore. I sit on the bench. "ohmygoodness!! You. Go. ahead." I said, panting and signaling Luke to continue jogging.

"You're tired already?" He said, standing in front of me.

I nodded while taking a deep breath. Luke did high jumps and alternating it with push-ups. Now I know where did he got that gorilla arms of his. I sit there and watch him do his exercise. Dog walkers and some of the joggers where looking at him, while he's doing the one arm push up. After 6 repetition he stops and sit beside me but he's not panting like me. He did a some stretch for his arms and legs.
