Chapter 1

Okay, so this is the 1st chapter of my fan-fiction! It's kinda short and bad, but I hope you guys like it!

Chapter 1

I was silent for a second, then out of nowhere, it hit me like a ton of bricks.

It's gone.

Everything is gone.

Planet Earth is gone.

Gone.

~flashback~

It was pretty much a normal day. I was in my room on my laptop, as usual, when I heard it. It was a very loud boom, kind of like fireworks. 

"Um, Kayla...what was that?" I say, a little worriedly.

Kayla was one of my best friends. She had brown eyes and dark brown hair, which she kept in two braids most of the time. She was really nice and loved to draw, like me.

"I don't know, it was really loud." she replies and stands up. "I'll go check it out." I nod and watch as she walks outside. "See anything?" I yell to her. She turns around and looks at me, eyes full of fear. "Chloe, that was an explosion. A huge explosion..." My eyes widen and I jump up. "F-fire...there's fire...everywhere..." 

Soon enough, we find ourselves running as fast as we can to a place that isn't burning. That part for me kind of went in slow motion. I guess I was still trying to process what had happened.

The next thing I know, everything around me is either black or orangey-red. I hear a scream probably belonging to Kayla, but I couldn't make a sound.

Then everything went black.
