Chapter 5 - Part 1

Chapter 5

I wake up to someone's voice. "Chloeeee...wake up..." 

"Huh?" I say quietly and open my eyes. My face turns beet red and I jump as I realize that Dan's face is literally right next to mine. "Gah!!!"

"What?" Dan asks and gives me a confused look. "Hey, are you okay? Your face looks all red." 

I cover my face with a pillow. "Just...ugh, never mind."

"Fine then. I just wanted to wake you up because we need to meet up at that place again to get breakfast or something, but I guess you don't want to go." he says and sticks his nose up. I roll my eyes and take the pillow off my face. "Of course I want to go."

"Well get ready and do all your girly stuff and tell me when you're done, cause I'm starving." he replies. I nod and walk into the bathroom, which for some reason I'm just now noticing has all the stuff I need to get ready.

~skip to after I finish getting ready~

I open the door to the bathroom and walk out, wearing an outfit provided for me that looks sort of like what Katniss Everdeen wore in the training center. "Alright Dan, we can go now." I say. He walks out from his bedroom. "Took you long eno-" He freezes.

"What?" I ask.

His cheeks turn red. "Uh, um, nothing...let's just go..."

"O...kay?" I say and walk towards the door.

~skip AGAIN to when we get there~

"Hey Chelsea." I say to Chelsea and sit next to her. "Hey." she says and waves. After a few minutes of talking, 3 robots wheel in with a table. "Oooh, breakfast!" Dan says and runs over immediately. On the table there is bacon (lots of it), eggs, and various different fruits. "I want fruit and bacon." I say and walk over, grabbing a plate. 

~lalalala I'm so lazy so we're skipping again :P~

"Well I'm stuffed." Manny says. "Manny, you only had like half a plate..." Chelsea replies. "I know." he says. She opens her mouth to say something but closes it. "...Never mind. Your dumbness confuses me." 

I can't help but laugh. "Oh god..." I say in between laughter. "What? It's true." Chelsea says. Dan and Phil both chuckle while Manny pouts. "You guys are mean meanie pantses." he says. Phil sticks his tongue out. "Only mean people call other people mean meanie pantses." he says. "This is true." Dan says. Chelsea rolls her eyes. "You guys are all weird." 

"What about me?" I ask and stick out my lower lip. "Well, maybe not you." Chelsea replies. I beam. "But the rest of you are definitely weird."

Jen suddenly bursts in carrying a bag and clipboard. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be late..." she mumbles. "It's okay." I say. "We were just having breakfast."

"Okay, good, so you weren't waiting on me for too long?" she asks. I shake my head no. "Good. Now let's begin your work for today."
