"Coming from a favorite District of mine, I expect a lot of promise from you. Seventeen, a fine age to understand the consequences. Don't disappoint of Aeren, the Capitol loves a show." -Wisteria Wiles, Host
NAME: Aeren Margaux
GENDER: Female
AGE: Seventeen
DISTRICT: Seven; Lumber
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: There's no doubt Aeren is just another face in the picture. Together with about every other female in the secluded forests of Seven, she shares the same mop of dark red hair and practically the same dull, green eyes. A healthy amount of freckles cover her nose and shoulders, although hardly anyone gets a chance to see the latter. She's a tad taller than most her age, but like some of her features, Aeren has the same firm build produced by hours of working in the woods. Aeren rarely smiles, and so her thin, chapped lips are usually set into one grim line between bony cheeks.
PERSONALITY: Aeren thinks she knows it already. Every twists and turns of life, every supposed plot holes . . . She's completed the task of getting used to them all. After being on the brink of death for several years, and successfully getting over that - although barely - she believes she can survive through everything now. The situation her family keeps digging themselves deeper into made her despise anything and anyone highly. Even without sufficient reason. This whole view on life made her stubborn, apparently, and almost anything that comes out of her mouth and whatever action she does are completely irrational.
PAST: Her story wouldn't be so uncommon amongst the string of worlds connecting Panem. Coming from a family of nine, Aeren's the seventh and last child, and the only one eligible still for the Hunger Games. Her older brothers and sisters try their hardest to help their own families and the family they've now left behind. Only two Margaux kids live under the first roof now, and so they do what they can do to strive through everything. The works and hardships can all just be natural sleights of the limbs for only her parents, like tying shoelaces or going up the steps, had it not been for the five-year-long famine they've been struck with when she's only seven. Now she knows how it works. (Or does she?)
WEAPON OF CHOICE: She can use anything, but if she had to choose - like everyone else - it would always go down with an axe.
STRENGTHS: Aeren knows how to survive. She knows her plants, traps, and skills. So providing the arena has enough resources, it really wouldn't be too hard - that is, if she still isn't killed by another's doing.
WEAKNESSES: Her stubbornness almost always gets in the way, so it's not such a rare sight to see her making rash decisions - especially under pressure. Every time she passes by a holograph, she also tends to let her gaze stray back to her front, not really wanting to witness the gore only the Hunger Games can happily provide. Aeren knows she has the brains to kill, but she doubts if she has the heart.
OTHER: Food isn't a trivial matter - most definitely not to Aeren, anyway. Every time the opportunity is there, she won't be the one shying away behind the crowds. When she sees it, she gets it.
FLOWER: When she hunts, she sometimes uses the Angel's Trumpet to weaken and hallucinate the animals - mostly deer by the way - and what's done is done.
TOKEN: None.
