NAME: Kale Emrys

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:

Kale is not handsome in the classical sense of the word, but there is a certain quality about him which makes people look twice.

There is often a certain ethereal air about him, which is at odds with how he behaves.

His black shaggy hair is often rumpled and dirty, his face with high cheekbones smudged with the dirt from the mine.. He has bright blue eyes which often gives his emotions away. He also has pale skin from seldom working out of the underground mine.

He has a slim, toned body, often hidden with baggy clothing and stands tall at 6'1.but seems shorter and smaller for a unknown reason.

PERSONALITY:

Kale is an open book, until you realise it is he who chooses which page you read from....

Kale grew up being rather naive and idealistic, he was and still is outspoken and slightly foolish. Indeed that part of him is still there, hidden away but still there, bubbling under the service.. He is someone who strongly believes in Destiny and Fate. And he is more intelligent then he looks, often clumsy and stupid looking, but as we all know, appearances are deceiving.

Kale is first and foremost, a gentleman. If we were to use multiple adjectives to describe this side of Kale's personality those words would be. Selfless, honourable, noble, brave, optimistic, compassionate, and wise. However, be warned, his life in the poorest district has created another side to Kale. One which you would be careful to avoid. Words we could use to describe this Kale would be cold, cruel, evil and sadistic. Someone who is not above torture and blackmail to get what he needs.

Kale is a mystery, a gentleman with a heart of gold and light, a heart which has edges of steel and darkness.

PAST:

He has no siblings, a mother who he is very close to and a non-existent father who was rumoured that he was a noble from the Capital. All he has known is the work down in the mine, he loves to work there even though he has a bad time there most days.

When he was growing up he was treated like an outcast because who his father could of been. He grew used to accidental kicks and hits which often resulted bruises. He just shrugged then off, not wanting to worry his mother. That was, untill he was taken one day and dragged into the dark part of the mine. There the two boys hit him untill he spat out blood and felt like he was on fire. This fire seemed to overwhelm him and when he came to be found the two bodies of the boys who hurt him. As Kale hide the bodies, (throwing them down an abandoned well) he began to realize the monster he could be. It scared him and still does.

All he wants to have is a nice home and a girl, or boy if he is being honest to marry and settle down with. He dreams of a happy family were life is simple and such things as the Hunger Games didn't happen.

STRENGTHS:

People will often judge him of the fact he seems to be a stupid coward, he will use this to his advantage. For he is wise and very strong, both in the mind and body.

He has amazing night eyesight and good eye-hand coordination.

WEAKNESSES:

He tries to see the good in everyone, and believes that there is good in everyone. He is often blind to people's bad intentions.He will speak his mind to anyone and never shows respect to ranking, (This has been attributed to the fact his father might of been a noble from the Capital)
