Chapter 46

I stood up to grab my phone when my stomach started to suddenly do flips. I threw my hand over my mouth and ran to the bathroom. I just made it in time as I emptied my stomach into the toilet.
After a few seconds of puking Hades walked in and rubbed my back. Once I was done he wiped my mouth and flushed the toilet.
"You okay?" He asked, giving me a concerned look.
I brushed my teeth and nodded, "Yeah, I just felt a little sick."
I froze, "You've been using protection, right?"
He nodded, "Yeah, why?"
I have him a deadpan look before walking out. He stood there for a few seconds before realization dawned on him.
"Oh..."
"Well, that's good, I would seriously kill you if you got me pregnant." I voiced.
Hades raised an eyebrow, "And who agreed to have sex with me? Multiple times."
"Okay...I did, but-
"Broken condoms happen." He smirked before walking out.
I scowled at him, "Hades! Get your ass back here!"

I chased after him and pinned him to the wall. His eyes filled with lust, but the moment I let out an irritated growl he froze.
"Please tell me you were joking." I pleaded.
"Okay...I was joking." He stated.
I narrowed my eyes, "You're lying."
"Yeah."
I swallowed and backed away from him, I ran my hand through my hair.
"Listen, I-I was meaning to tell you but I was afraid of-
"Oh what? Huh? You should have told me sooner! I'm not ready to be a mother!" I snarled.
"Of this." He whispered.
I pinched the bridge of my nose, "Okay, you're not at total blame." I admitted.
He didn't say a word, he stood there like a scared puppy.
I looked back up at him, "Well, now I have to take a pregnancy test." I groaned before walking back to the room.

I was stunned when Hades didn't follow me, but I shrugged it off. I quickly showered and got dressed before leaving.
I checked Hades' office before leaving and frowned. He didn't notice me, but I was relieved about that. How else am I supposed to spy on him?
I glared at the woman, she was stunning. Both her and Hades were staring at each other, but I couldn't figure out what he was thinking. Damn him and his blank looks.
"Oh, baby, come on. I know you're desperate or else you wouldn't be with that whore." The woman cooed.
I glowered, another hoe? Seriously? Hades clenched his jaw and backed away from her. Anger seeped into his eyes as a glare settled on his features.
"Get out, Sylvia." He spat.
Sylvia rolled her eyes, "You loved me, you always tried to prove that. You chased after me for five years, but I wasn't ready. I am now though."
"I said, leave!" He snarled.
She didn't budge, she only continued to stare at him. She then walked up to him and ran her finger down his chest. I bit back a growl as I continued to watch them.
"You want me, admit it." She hissed.
Hades narrowed his eyes, "You're right, I do want you...."
She smirked as my heart tightened.
"To fucking leave." He finished, shoving her away from him.
Without warning Sylvia lunged at him and crushed her lips against his. A growl erupted from him as he shoved her away again.
"Stay away from me!" He snapped.
She glared at him, she got ready to lunge again but I caught her by the throat. Her eyes widened with surprise as she clawed at my hands.
I bared my canines, "Learn your place, bitch." I spat before throwing her onto the ground.
She coughed and gasped for air, once she could breathe she gave me a black look.
"My place is beside him!" She snarled back.
I let out a bemused laugh, "Your place is in the forest as a rogue."
"You got it all wrong, slut. Your place is as a rogue, not mine." She retorted.
I smirked, "My place is beside him, on top, or underneath. Whichever I feel like doing. I'm the Luna of this pack and I'm his mate. We marked each other. So, I'm pretty sure you're not needed. Why don't you go down to that bar in town? I heard they're looking for a stripper." I snarled.
She gaped at me, shock and hurt swirling in her eyes. I only continued to smirk, not caring I was being a bitch. Hell, I'm the top bitch here anyway. It's only time she learns.
Hades wrapped his arms around me, "I believe that's your cue to leave." He growled.

Sylvia frowned before storming out of the room. I sighed and turned around in his arms. I rested my head against his chest, using his scent to calm me down.
"Are you okay?" He whispered.
I nodded, "Just trying to get rid of my anger."
He chuckled, "By the way, you're hot when you're angry."
"And you remind me of prey when you're with another girl."

I pulled away and raised an eyebrow, waiting for his explanation.

"She was already in here when I walked in. She wouldn't leave." He explained.

"Is she the woman who...you said hated you? That you tried getting her to fall in love?"

He sighed, "Yeah, I was desperate back then. I have you now though. So, I'm all good."

I smiled and kissed him, "You're coming with me." I chirped, dragging him from the office.

"To where?" He asked.

"To CVS, I need to take a pregnancy test."

"They have those?"

I sighed, "Yes, Hades, they have those."
"Ohhhh."

Oh, goddess, he's going to be the death of me.
