*Liam's POV*
Matt and I were sat in the living room talking. Makayla sat by the window with what looked like a sketch pad. She looked deep in thought as well. Her brow furrowed slightly with her hair falling over her face.
"Is she drawing?" I interrupted Matt who had been rambling. I didn't listen to much though.
"She draws well. But she never lets me see. I just peek at them. They're absolutely amazing. I hummed in response still looking at Makayla. She sat in the windowsill seat. It was raining out again but not badly. The power hadn't comeback either. It was slightly boring but it was good to have people to talk to. Makayla stood up placing the sketch pad down where she was sitting before. She walked out of the room to go to the bathroom I'm guessing. Should I?
"Do you think she'd care if I look?" I asked Matt. He shrugged.
"Do it." He said with a sly look on his face. I listened anyway. I was quite interested to see her drawing. I walked over to where she had been sitting picking up the sketch pad. I opened it. On the first page was a beautiful picture of a flower. It wasn't colored but it made it perfect in a way. I turned the page seeing a face of a pretty woman. I think it was Makayla and Matt's mum. I turned it again and was met with a face that looked like Matt but older. I kept turning the pages of amazing pencil work. Then I reached the last page. It was an amazing drawing of a window with rain dripping from it. I looked out the window and realized that was what she had drawn. I smiled looking back at the drawing. Then I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up met with those blue eyes covered in a cloud of grey.
"I would have warned you but it was too late." Matt said looking over to me. I ignored him though.
"These are absolutely-"
"Horrible? I know."
"No they're amazing, Makayla." I said shaking my head. She smiled and sat next to me taking the book from me. She opened it to the first picture of the flower.
"You like them?" She asked.
"No. I love them." I responded sincerely. She laughed.
"Why?"
"They're beautiful. I think they sort of reflect you." I said blushing slightly. I looked at her and noticed a little red in her cheeks.
"Oh stop." She said shoving me slightly. We laughed.
"Quit flirting!" Matt yelled from his seat on the couch munching on some chips. When the heck did he even leave to get those?
"Shut up! We aren't flirting." Makayla said blushing harder. I started laughing.
"You so were. It was obvious." Matt stated blandly. He sounded a lot like Louis again. They would be good friends if they met.
"Ass…" Makayla mumbled standing up and walking over sitting on him.
"What are yah doing?" Matt said.
"Sitting on you. What does it look like?"
"I don't know. Liam what does it look like?" He asked me. Makayla rolled her eyes.
"Do you even know how stupid you are sometimes?" She asked him.
"Uhm… I'm stupid a lot." Matt responded earning a laugh from me. Makayla laughed also. I loved seeing their bond. It was a friendly one. They were really close and it was adorable.
"Alright get off me."
"Why?"
"Because I wanna get up!" Matt whined.
