chapter 10

at the fair~

Kellin's pov-

I wasn't sure why I was doing this, it was different, I'd basically asked Vic out on a date and that's not what I intended. It frustrates me how much he hates me, I mean, I didn't even do anything to this kid, nothing that I remember atleast...I don't remember insignificant details about my childhood because I had gotten in a car crash, I mean I remember  my good friends  Like Jack, Gabe, and Jaime, and of course, my brother Justin and my family. But that's over now and, from my memory,..I've no idea who this Vic kid is.

I wait at the ticket booth for him, I mean he seems pretty cool and nay be who knows? We could become really good friends, he looks so badass all the time and he walks around all stiff like he owns the place and he keeps to himself...And his arms are just like all around perfect, I swear he lifts weights-

"Kellin?" a voice interrupted me, and as I look over, I see a familiar looking face. She has dark brown hair and light eyes, her figure is small, but somehow athletic.

I smile to her, "oh, hey Tay...What brings you to the fair?" I ask, as I stood next to her, I see that she's waiting for someone.

She laughs, poking my shoulder, "Well...seems to me Mr. Quinn that you and I have a date." She says, laughing. I've always liked Tay, she's so funny and chill, I like people like that. I laugh with her as I cross my arms.

"Yeah, but nah... I'm here with a friend."

She widens her eyes, "who?"

Er...Well this is awkward, does anybody know Vic? I bit my lip as I looked away, "Vic Fuentes? If you know him...?"

But she held a blank expression as she shifts  her weight on one leg, "does he have red hair?"

"nah...Brown, wavy?" I say to her, imitating waves with my hands.

"Nope."

"There's more than one Vic at our school?" I ask her.

" Well...'parently..." She says, obviously just as confused as I am.

"Well, who's your date?"

But as she's about to respond, a blonde girl with glistening white teeth walked towards both Tay and I, her smiled faded as she saw me, I watched as it transformed into a rather mortified expression. "K-kellin.." She choked out, "well this is...awkward."

But then it clicked. Oh hell no.

It felt like someone shooting a bullet through my heart, I spent so much time on Haley, I gave her all of my heart, I loved her.

"B-but..?" I managed, gazing into her glass blue eyes.

But she walked up to me, and gave me a peck, "I'm so sorry, Kells..But it didn't work out." She said to me, an  I gaze at Tay, and she gave me a surprised expression. But haley kept walking, and so I began to pull her arm as she began to walk away.

"Wait!" I shout to her, "so all this time, you were lesbian and didn't tell me?!" I shout in anger, letting all my emotions un-mask themselves as they scream at me, all the memories fading to black and beginning to lock away, but all the pain slowly forming.

But her face shows no emotion, she doesn't care, she never did care. "I like Tay...An  I forgot to tell you, I don't mean for it to happen like this but; I'm kinda gay.." She said, after a moment, and  kissed her.

And with that I lost it, the tears fell, but I wiped them away shortly after they came, because thats embarrassing. As I'm about to respond, Vic then walks over to me ever so awkwardly, as everyone gazed at him.

"So that's Vic-"  Tay began to say, but not thinking, I'd grabbed  his face and  kissed him, sloppily, but with passion and sweet revenge, as he kissed back with the same empathy.

As I pulled away, I glared at Haley, with fury, "Well I like him, so I guess we're both 'kinda gay' " I finished, walking away, holding Vic's hand.

"You're a bitch!" I hear her shout.

I turn around, and flip her off. "says the bitch!"
