Thalia lies next to me. It's too dark to see her well, but I'm keenly aware of every inch of her.
I've known for some time that I was losing my heart to her, and now it seems she's making me lose my mind as well. How quickly has she made me forget anything that exists beyond this room?
If she can do this to me with just her lips and tongue, I can't help but wonder what effect the rest of her body could have on me. I wonder if she's as lost in the kiss as I am. If she'd let me explore her neck with my lips, so I could see if it tastes as good as her mouth.
But before I have a chance to find out, she's pushing me away. I reach out a hand, try to comfort her. To no avail, though. She leaves without even saying a word to me.
I consider going after her, but worry that I'll only make things worse. Instead, I stay in bed, running my fingers over my lips as if doing so will help carve the memory of her kiss into them.
