"I can't wait for you to see this." I say to Mae
I smile.
We get to the house.
Mae, Daniel, Alex, and I.
Michael wanted to stay back. I'm not sure why.
We open the pantry in the kitchen and start stuffing our bags full.
"Oh my gosh." Mae is stating while stuffing her bag.
We finally get done filling out bags and walk back to the house.
I open the door with the key we had found.
I see Alex, Parker, and Angie playing a board game on the floor.
I don't see Michael anywhere.
"Where's Michael?" I ask Alex.
He answers "He told us to leave him alone and for no one to talk to him, but he's in one of the rooms." He smiles at the end. We were friends but we'd grown apart after all this.
"Thanks." I smile back and start to walk upstairs
I walk upstairs and pass the room where I'd killed the little girl biter.
I hear a small whimper so I walk quietly.
I see Michael laying on the bed, holding something, and he's crying.
I walk over to the bed and lay beside him.
"Get out. I don't want you to me like this." He says wiping his face and sniffling.
"It doesn't matter. I'm staying here,
to make sure your okay. We are friends remember?""Yeah. Thanks Cara." He turned to face me.
I looked into his beautiful brown eyes. I could just kiss him right there. I smile and he pulls me into a hug.
"Is everything okay?" I pull away from the hug.
"Yeah. I mean, No. I want my life to be normal. I don't want to have to go through this and know I'm not waking up to my mom. Cara. I have nothing."
Me? I guess I'm nothing to him.
"Nothing? Michael really?" I shake my head as I walk out.
How could he have said that.
