I woke up and looked to my side.
Michael was peacefully asleep.
Nothing.
I could barley sleep last night thinking about it.
I mean nothing to him.
Nothing.
He sits up and I get up and go to the kitchen.
I fix me a bowl of cereal, without milk of course.
Michael walks in and greets me
"Morning."I grab my bowl of cereal and walk up stairs into a room and lock the door.
I go sit on the bed and sit my cereal on the dresser.
I lay down on the bed as a feel another body lay on the bed.
I look over and see Daniel beside me.
"You okay?" He asked
"No I'm not. Michael said I he had nothing. After all we went through I guess I mean nothing to him."
"You mean something to me babe. If it's worth anything." He pulled me into a hug.
I hate when he called me babe.
I pulled out the hug and smiled and he brushed my hair off my face.
"Thanks." I smiled and got up and walked towards the door.
"You up for a run today?" I smile.
I've kinda always had feelings for Daniel but I couldn't tell what they were.
"Yeah just give me a few minutes." He winked at me and I walked down stairs.
Michael was on the pull out couch sitting.
"Daniel is coming with us." I don't even look at him.
"What? Cara? This was a run just for us." Michael stood up and walked toward me.
"Oops." I smile and walk away.
I grab my gun and put on my flannel t-shirt over my black tank top. I pull on my combat boots as Daniel walks down the stairs.
"You guys ready?" Michael says with no enthusiasm.
I grab my gun and extra ammo and nod.
I walk with Daniel to the car.
I pull open the back seat and sit with Daniel.
"Cara. Aren't you going to sit up here?" Michael turns around.
"No. Now let's go." I say
He pulls off as we make our way down the rode to an old CVS we saw.
