The Grayson family has been in the business of breaking the standers of good and bad for decades. They work on whatever side they happen to feel like working on that particular day. They could catch a serial killing master mind one day and steal priceless works of art the next. They are one of the strongest "criminal" family's in the world.

Ben Grayson is the headman in the Grayson Company. He took it over from his father when his father turned 60. His wife, Alice, decides what jobs they take on and handles all business related to clients. She has an amazing ability to read a person, which makes her the best person to be able to tell if the client is legitimate or if they want to turn them in to the CIA, or if they are CIA. Ben and Alice have four brilliant children. The eldest, Gavin, is 23. He has his father's leadership ability and is often in charge of his teams and leads the missions. Next is Austin who is 21. Austin is the charmer of the family. He's always making jokes and looking for a good time, but is always focused on the mission and is great at getting people to trust him. He can steal just about anything without having anyone notice. The twins are the youngest in the immediate family, being 17. Parker and Haven couldn't possibly be more different. Parker is a technology genius. He can hack into any computer in record time. He also can pick any lock he comes in contact with. Parker mostly keeps to himself, preferring the shadows to the spotlight. Haven is the complete opposite. She loves attention and people. She inherited her mother's ability to read people and she uses that every chance she get. She is the perfect distraction, ever though her father and brothers aren't fond of her flirting with a wide range of men, men who could be weak nerds, to some of the most dangerous people in the world. But she always manages to get the information she needs or to provide the distraction her brothers need to fulfill the mission.

The rest of the family consists of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends they found along the way who might as well have the Grayson name.

I dash down the dark street. I hear the guards chasing after me. I make a split turn down an abandoned ally and see a black SUV waiting. I jump in the backseat and the car takes off. My heart's pounding in my chest, and it's not just from running; it was a close call this time.

"Did you get it?" my cousin Tasha asks me.

"Of course I did." I pull the necklace out of my coat pocket and the diamonds clink together.

"Wonderful. At least it wasn't a total waste of time to come out here." She huffs.

"Hey, it's not my fault your boyfriend is a loser." Tasha's boyfriend was supposed to meet her when I was stealing the necklace, but he never showed up. I keep telling her to break up with him, but she always defends him, saying that he's just really busy running his business.

"He's not a loser, just a busy man. You would be the same if you had a girlfriend, or friends for that matter. You both have demanding jobs."

"And that is exactly why I don't have a girlfriend Tash. And anyway, you have the same hectic schedule I do and still find time for trying to meet up with him."

"Whatever Gav, this is your stop."

"See you around Tash." I step out of the car, leaving the necklace for Tasha to bring to the Grayson Family vault.

"Bye Cous." She smiles then pulls away from the curb. I look at my house and I'm instantly hit with the need to sleep, the adrenalin wearing off. I trudge up to my room and remove my contacts before I collapse on my bed. At least I can sleep in tomorrow, I think before I'm thrown in to a dreamless sleep.
