Two Zodiacs

Chpt 6

I woke up to the morning sun dancing on my face. I still had bags to unpack. I walked downstairs. Everything was quiet. Today was Sunday. I began to shuffle around in the cabinets. I heard foot steps. Tohru stood on the other side of the kitchen with a surprised face.

"Good morning Tohru! What do you want for breakfast?" I asked, "I'm not the best cook. But, I'm good enough!"

"It's ok Crystal! I normally cook for everyone." Tohru informed.

"Oh, are you sure you don't need help?" I asked.

"It's fine! You can go sit!" Tohru insisted.

When breakfast was ready, everyone was awake. We all ate happily.

"So, Crystal, is there any other zodiacs coming to Japan?" Tohru asked.

"I think my friend Carnation is. She's Aquarius!" I informed happily.

"That's nice. So, can you also turn into a animal?" Shigure asked.

"Yeah... Two actually! A dog and cat. But only sometimes I do. Sometimes I'm Virgo. Others I'm a cat or dog. But mainly I turn into Virgo." I nodded.

"What do you do for fun?" Yuki asked.

"I do a lot! I swim, ski, boat, water ski, draw, read, write, and do archery! I actually brought my bow and arrows with me!" I informed.

"A girl using a weapon? I doubt that." Kyo rolled his eyes.

"Really? I bet I'm a better archer then you!" I challenged.

"No way! I'm probably better!" Kyo retorted.

"Is that a challenge?" I asked.

"Hell yeah it is! Right now!" Kyo demanded. I laughed.

"Shall we wager?" I asked.

"The looser gets to buy one thing for the winner, what ever they want." Kyo decided.

"Deal! I'll get it set up!" I informed.

I set up my portable target and pulled out my bow and arrows.

"It's ready!" I called. They all came out. "Would you like to do the first round Kyo?"

"Whatever." Kyo took the bow and quiver.

Kyo notched the arrow and aimed. He let go and the arrow stuck into the ground. Kyo notched another and aimed to high. The arrow hit the white ring. Only two arrows hit the target out of the five.

"My turn!" I took the bow and aimed low. But not too low.

"Your aiming too low!" Kyo yelled.

I took a few deep breaths.

"What's taking so long!" Kyo out bursted.

I pulled back the string and releases. The loud bang of an arrow hitting the target sounded. Bulls eye. I notched another fast and shot. Bulls eye. And another bulls eye, and another bulls eye, and another. I quickly gathered my arrows and ran back.

"It looks like I win!" I teased.

"That bow's rigged!" Kyo yelled.

"Your just making up excuses." I smirked.

"That was awesome Crystal!" Tohru beamed.

"You have some true talent indeed!" Shigure complimented.

"How about a hand to hand fight!" Kyo threatened.

"Now why would you do that?" I asked.

"Yes Kyo, she's only a girl, stupid cat." Yuki noted.

"Oh, I don't care if it'a wrong to fight a girl! First off, it's a terrible idea to fight someone with a weapon I could shoot you in the foot and I'd win. And two, even if I didn't have a weapon. I'd probably beat you." I smirked.

"I want a hand to hand fight now! Give one of them your weapon and prepare to fight!" Kyo threatened. I handed Tohru my weapons and readied myself.

Kyo quickly ran at me. I nimbly dodged the attack. I ran at Kyo and punches his gut. Kyo swung a punch at my face. I dodged it with ease.

"You're so slow!" I laughed.

"Then hold still!" Kyo ordered.

Kyo swung his fist at my face and I dodged the hit.

"How are you so fast!" Kyo demanded.

"I am zodiac of earth. I am fast like a deer in the forest. Face it I am a forest with all the nimble animals and strength!" I laughed. I jumped up and landed on Kyo's shoulders. I gripped his chin.

"HEY! GET OFF OF ME!" Kyo demanded. He reached for me. I quickly jumped off. I stood casually in front of Kyo.

"Give up?" I asked.

"HELL NO!" Kyo yelled.

"Oh well." I shrugged. I tapped the ground with my foot. Then a large chunk of the ground shot out underneath of Kyo sending him flying through the roof.

"MY HOUSE!" Shigure shrieked.
