Chpt 26

The five of us walked down the hall together. Yuki laced his fingers with mine. The Yuki fan club members shot me jealous and hateful glares. I heard Carnation shriek. I whipped around fast. Carnation had tripped and was scrambling to her feet.

"Where'd my glasses go!" Carnation shrieked.

"Are these them Carnation?" Hatsuharu asked from behind. He held her black and red glasses.

"Oh yeah thanks." Carnation thanked. She put her glasses on and blushed bright. Hatsuharu blushed back.

"No problem." Hatsuharu nodded. He turned and walked away. I giggled.

"Hatsuharu and Carnation sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" I sang.

"Oh shut up." Carnation rolled her eyes.

After school we all walked home together. Momiji came running up to us.

"Hey wait up!" Momiji called. We stopped.

"Hi Momiji!" Tohru beamed.

"Guess what! I'm inviting you guys up to the hot spring that the Sohmas own!" Momiji beamed.

"Wow that sounds great!" I exclaimed.

"When do we go?" Carnation asked.

"This weekend. Like a early present for white day!" Momiji beamed.

"That sounds great! But what's white day?" I asked. Kyo looked at me like I was an idiot.

"You don't know what white day is? That's stupid!" Kyo laughed. I shot him a death glare. "DONT LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!"

"White day is a day when you wear all white and the boys give us chocolates to thank the girls for the chocolates given on valentines day." Tohru informed. "It's on march 14th which is sunday this year." Carnation and I looked at each other worriedly.

"I don't think we can take part in white day." I informed.

"Why not?" Yuki asked.

"Aw! Why not! It's so much fun! But will you be able to come to the hot spring still?" Momiji asked.

"Yeah it's just we can't do white day." Carnation sighed.

"But why?" Kyo asked.

"For Greek zodiacs. A month after valentines day we must go to our element and fend for ourselves for a full day to reconnect with their powers. I have to go into the forest alone and reconnect with the earth. Carnation has to go under water and reconnect with water. I'm not aloud to bring anything with me and I must be alone at all times." I informed.

"Why can't I come with you? What about Akito?" Yuki asked.

"I must flee from him. I must leave before sunrise into the forest. Then I almost completely change. Any human I see I will want to attack and kill or flee. I would turn into my true form and attack. This is sacred to me. If I don't perform this correctly. I could die." I informed.

"We understand Crystal and Carnation." Tohru assured.

"So don't expect to see us at all on white day." Carnation added.

"When will you come back?" Momiji asked.

"At sunrise we return to normal and we can return." I informed. "No matter what don't follow me or Carnation. Momiji can you tell Hatsuharu that if we don't get to?"

"Sure thing Crystal!" Momiji beamed.
