Two Zodiacs

Chpt 17

Tears blurred my eyes as I ran. I tripped and fell over a rock. I yelped. I stood unsteadily. I hurt one of my legs. I began to limp as I ran. I kept running. I could hear faint running foot steps with my k9 ears. I ran the other way. My hurt leg ached too much. I crawled in between two bushes and laid down. I whimpered at the pain that shot in my leg. I curled myself up trying to hide myself. The foot steps grew closer.

"Crystal? Are you out here?" A voice called. I shuffled a little bit accidentally rustling the bushes.

'dammit.' I cursed in my head. The person parted the bushes. I growled.

"It's ok Crystal. It's me. Yuki." Yuki informed gently. Yuki stretched his hand out to me. I growled again and tried to stand. But, I yelped at the pain that shot up my leg. Yuki's hand petted my head. "It's ok." I met his purple eyes with my green and purple eyes. I realized Yuki was only trying to help me. I relaxed. I transformed back to my human form. I yelped and covered my upper part. Yuki smiled gently and handed me his grey jacket.

"Thanks.." I whispered. I tied the jacket like a towel around my body. Yuki held his hand out to me. I took Yuki's hand carefully and stood. I took a step but fell. I cried out in pain. I couldn't walk with a injured leg.

"Crystal. You're hurt." Yuki pointed out. "Here I can carry you."

"No! I'm perfectly fine!" I assured. Yuki scooped me up anyways. Yuki carried me out of the woods and onto a path.

"Tohru has your clothes. I can take you to the house and get you fixed up." Yuki informed. I nodded. Yuki carried me to the house

Yuki carried me into the kitchen and sat me down on the counter. He opened up the freezer and grabbed a ice pack.

"Here,  it's for your face." Yuki informed. I took the bag and placed it to my throbbing face. Yuki dug through a cabinet and found a first aid kit. Yuki began to bandage my ankle gently, "it looks twisted but it'll heal up soon enough."

"Ok." I nodded as I watched his hands move. Yuki tied the bandage together.

"I'm done is it too tight?" Yuki asked.

"No it's perfect. Thank you." I smiled.

"You should try staying off of your foot for the rest of the day." Yuki suggested.

"Ok." I nodded. Yuki picked me up again and carried me out to the living room. He sat down with me in his lap. "Yuki you can put me down."

"I don't want your ankle getting any worse." Yuki informed.

"Oh ok..." I trailed off. We watched TV. Minutes passed by. "Yuki, you don't have to be so nice to me."

"Why not?" Yuki smiled at me. I shrugged.

"I don't know." I laughed a little. I put the icepack on the table once the throbbing stopped. "Thanks for everything." Yuki smiled warmly at me. I blushed and giggled. Yuki brushed my good cheek. I blushed and looked into Yuki's purple eyes. Yuki's lips touched mine. I blushed brighter. My eyes widened. But, I relaxed I closed my eyes and gently kissed back. 

"OMG CRYSTAL!" Carnation's voice squealed. Yuki and I pulled away and saw the others standing at the door with their mouths gaping.
