Two Zodiacs

Chpt 24

A week later we where home. Two new dangers lurked my family members who wanted to kill my friends and Akito. I stared outside my window as rain came down in sheets and thunder cracked. I had the window slightly open so I could feel the cool air on my skin. Lightning flashed. Tohru was with Arisa and Saki. Carnation went with Shigure and Yuki to go shopping. Layla was back in Greece. Kyo was out training so he wouldn't be back for a while. So I was alone. Another flash of lightning.

"Hello Crystal Zodi." A voice greeted. I jumped. A sickly pale looking man about my age with misty grey eyes and black hair. "My name is Akito." I grabbed the window

'Akito! Yuki warned me about him!' I remembered.

"I hear you are a zodiac as well. Are you?" Akito asked.

"Y-yes." I nodded. I looked to my bow and arrows it was with in reach. I wondered what would happen if I killed him. Would the Sohmas mourn or cheer? I inched my hand to the quiver. Akito stepped closer slowly. I felt my heart quicken.

"Don't fear me Crystal Zodi. I am here to speak with you." Akito assured. His eyes darted to my one hand that searched for my bow. Akito leaped at me. His hand grabbed my wrist that searched for my weapon and the other grabbed my chin.

"Let me go." I growled.

"You are very pretty Crystal far prettier than Tohru." Akito smirked. He was inches from my face. "Tell me why exactly you came here."

"My parents sent me here." I informed in fear. He held me down tighter.

"I see. So you are Virgo the virgin. Yes?" Akito smirked.

"Yes." I growled. "Let me go!"

"You don't want to mess with me." Akito glared. His grip tightened. Lightning flashed and thunder crackled. I screamed.

"Akito! Let me go!" I demanded. The rain fell harder a series of lightning and thunder cracked. "Let me go!" The door swung open.

"Akito! Let her go!" Yuki demanded. I struggled under Akito's grip.

"Ah Yuki. Nice to see you again." Akito smirked without looking away.

"Let Crystal go." Yuki glared. Akito hooked a finger under my silver chocker. "What a pretty necklace. My I see it?"

"No!" I screamed.

"Stop Akito!" Yuki demanded and leaped at Akito. Yuki pried him off of me. "Get out! Don't you ever touch her again!"

"Foolish Yuki." Akito slapped Yuki right across the face. Yuki fell to the floor. Akito walked out of my room.

"Yuki!" I cried. I ran to Yuki who was curled up. I hugged him tight.

"Crystal. Did he hurt you? In anyway?" Yuki asked shaking.

"Almost. But I'm ok. I promise." I assured. Yuki hugged me tight. I felt his tears fall onto me. A few tears fell from my eyes.

"Crystal are you telling me the truth? Did Akito hurt you?" Yuki asked more strictly. I shook my head.

"No. But he tried when I reached for my bow." I informed. Lightning and thunder cracked. Shigure and Carnation came up.

"What happened? We saw Akito leaving so I hid Carnation in the my office." Shigure informed.

"Why was Akito here? Did he hurt Crystal?" Carnation asked worriedly. Yuki sat up and clenched his fist.

"He tried to hurt Crystal." Yuki spat. "She reached for her bow and he tried to-to."

"Ok Yuki we understand." Shigure assured and patted his shoulder. Carnation hugged me tight. "As long as Crystal didn't get hurt. It's alright."

"No it's not Shigure! He came in and almost hurt Crystal!" Yuki yelled.

"Crystal what happened?" Shigure asked.

"I was just standing there when Akito walked in. And I reached for my bow because I was panicking and then he leaped at me." I informed.

"Crystal..." Carnation mumbled then let go of me.

"Come on Carnation lets leave them alone." Shigure suggested. Carnation nodded understandingly. They left the room.

"Crystal promise to never be alone. Be around atleast one of us. Me or Kyo or Tohru or Shigure or Momiji or Carnation or Hatsuharu. As long as you're not alone. I don't care who you're with. I don't want you all alone." Yuki whispered.

"Yuki I'm not totally defenseless. I still have powers." I reminded as I took his hands.

"I'm worried that won't be enough Crystal." Yuki sighed. I leaned on Yuki's shoulder as I listened to the loud storm.

"I'll be safe Yuki. I promise." I assured. Yuki kissed me gently. When Yuki pulled away I smiled gently. I looked at the time. It was one o' clock. I felt my eyes grow heavy even though it was early in the after noon. I soon found myself asleep against Yuki's chest.

Later on we all sat around the table. We ate our food happily.

"How was your day Tohru?" Shigure asked.

"Oh it was wonderful! I had a lot of fun with Arisa and Saki. How was yours?" Tohru asked.

"It was wonderful thank you. Yuki, Carnation, and I went to the grocery store." Shigure informed.

"I went training." Kyo informed casually.

"How about you Crystal?" Tohru asked. Before I could answer Shigure interrupted.

"Crystal was attacked by Akito!" Shigure informed with a sing songy voice. Tohru's face drained of color. Kyo spat out the water he was drinking all over Carnation.

"Thanks Shigure." I growled.

"Thanks for getting me wet Kyo." Carnation rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna clean up."

"A-Akito?" Tohru stuttered.

"Why the hell was he here!" Kyo demanded.

"Are you ok Crystal?" Tohru asked when the color returned to her face.

"I'm fine." I assured.

"I told her that she should be with atleast one of us." Yuki informed.

"She should be fine she beat me up after all." Kyo growled.

"Just because she beat you dosnt mean she can handle Akito." Yuki retorted. Kyo stood fast.

"Are you saying I'm weak!" Kyo yelled. Yuki jumped up.

"I'm not saying that but you said that." Yuki pointed out.

"It sure sounds like it!" Kyo growled. I felt a flower pop out of my head.

"Boys please stop fighting." Shigure sighed. I shot Kyo a death glare.

"Stop looking at me that away!" Kyo ordered.

"Then shut up." I glared. Kyo turned around sat down. Yuki sat down beside me.

"Afraid of a girl huh Kyo?" Shigure teased.

"What! No!" Kyo yelled.

"Kyo is afraid of a girl! Kyo is a scaredy cat!" Shigure teased in a sing songy voice. Tohru giggled. I laughed too. Yuki smiled at me.
