The Tattoo (zayn)

Part 10

*zayn's pov*
"See I told you it would be amazing." She said sitting on the couch next to me.
"You were right." I said as I paused the credits. I had been hanging out with Rachel for these past two months, quite often. She had starting filming her movie over a month ago and so when she had some free time she would come over to my flat and we would talk and watch movies. They were my favorite times. Anytime when I was with her.
Whenever she talked about something she really cared about, like movies or music, she would get really passionate with her discussion and I just loved to listen to her talk.
We had just finished watching North By Northwest which she considered a classic.
"It's one of the greatest cinematic pieces of all time." She stared in wonderment at the screen and I stared in wonderment at her.
She caught me looking at her.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing." I smiled.
"No tell me." She laughed a little and pushed my knee.
"You're just beautiful that's all." I wanted her to know. I wanted to tell her every single day.
"Zayn-" she stopped talking when her phone rang.
She took it from her back pocket and answered.
"Hello?" She said into the phone. I could only here her side of the conversation. "Hey Asher. No I didn't forget. Yah. I'm out right now but I'll be home soon. Ok. Ok bye."
I hated that she was with him. I wish I got to be with her instead of having to be with Mel. I guess we can't always get what we want.
"Zayn I have to go. I forgot I was supposed to go to the movie with Asher." She looked apologetic.
"Ok." I know I didn't seem enthused.
"I'll text you later though." She said as she stood up from the couch. I stood up as well to see her off.
"Goodbye." She said as she went to hug me.
I wrapped my arms around her frame.
She let go and kept her hand on my arm.
She leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek. She smiled and left my flat and I wished she hadn't gone. I jotted down some more lyrics that reminded me of her. The song was starting to become longer than I had originally thought. But I would write a whole album about her.
