"My name is Joseph. I am a loving father, and have raised my daughter alongside my wife Mar for quite a few years. Together we've raised her to the best we can. We have been through a lot. I've seen things that people would rather not. But after everything that has happened, I've learned quite a few things... through my years so far... I think I have gained a lot from my experiences.
As I watch my daughter Cecilia grow, she reminds me of Mar when she was younger. She's a little shy, but she is a smart girl. Where has the time gone?
My daughters grown up, and she's quite the person. She started her sixth year of school not too long ago. She is good friends with Cortez's daughters. Those three have their mothers temper though... but they are quite the people too.
Cortez has a handful with them sometimes... since he has to juggle between his anti-bullying organizations and his family life. His wife Junis is usually at the hospital working as head doctor. I have a lot to thank those two... they helped me and Mar raise our daughter.
Noel, Guy1 and Guy2 still work for Julian and Jone who still run the city and the surrounding ones too. They have been good thankfully, and I think they are about ready to retire. Jone and Julian however spend their time with the family business, and are trying to fool an unlucky man into falling in love with them. May on the other hand somehow got pregnant and is expecting some time. My cousins have been out of High-school for a while now searching for that, as my uncles will requires them to get married before they turn 35. They have a little while still... but they are still using May as their-
I'll just let your imagination run wild with that.
My maid, Chloe, eventually left after getting married to a young man I knew from my years in high-school.
Mar and I had also talked to Clement, after meeting him at his old ice cream stand in the park. We talked for a long while. As it turns out he started a successful restaurant called "Clementine's" after his daughter.
I bet you think I forgot to explain what I learned from my experiences. Well, I'll tell you.
I have learned that you have to make up for your mistakes, and that running away will do nothing but make that hurt inside worse and worse.
You have to express your feelings at some point, or they may build up to the point it's unbearable inside. I have also learned that love is something that takes two people to make. Love isn't lust, rather it's truly and sincerely caring for someone else. Love takes two people to make it work, and both have to understand each are their own person. I and Mar have had our fights, and we have both suffered through many things... but, love involves pain, and you have to stick it through and make it work-you have to try. Because if you truly love someone you will try to feel their pain and you will try to understand.
The last thing I suppose I can say I have learned... is that life is unexpected that that if you do not try... then nothing will ever change. Your life will get no worse, or no better if you don't try. If you are in a bad place, you don't embrace that you are just lost, you have to change yourself for the better. If you don't go after what you love, after what you desire, you will never get it. You don't crawl into a corner and cry when life knocks you down... you have to get right back up again. That's what I've learned so far in this life... and now I leave you to think about what you have learned, from this long love story of mine."
There I've finished it. I finished my autobiography, sort of... I wonder what I should call it. I don't know...
maybe... Dating story? That has a good ring to it.
I looked at Mar as she walked by my desk.
"I hope people will get something from our story Mar."
Mar stopped and smiled at me.
"I'm sure people will learn plenty."
"Daddy! Daddy! Come on... you promised you would come outside and play with me!"
"I'm coming, don't worry."
Mar looked at me with a small smile. "You better go."
I stood up and walked up to Mar. I kissed her on the lips as I felt her slightly bulged belly.
"When should we tell her she's going to have a brother?"
"I don't know..."
My daughter ran into my office, up to me and grabbed onto my hand.
"Come on!"
"Okay, okay. Let's go."
