Drew stayed the night again because he didn't want to leave. Okay I lie. I didn't want him to leave. I was just getting to know him and I didn't want the night to end yet.
I changed into my pyjamas and lay down on my stomach on the bed. "So..." I began. I didn't know what to say and for once it was slightly awkward.
The doorbell rang at the moment Drew was going to say something. "Hold on be right back." I said, jumping off the bed.
I swung open the door but there wasn't anybody standing outside. Initially I thought it was my mom, but I knew she had the keys. I shook my head and closed the door.
When I got back to my bedroom Drew was making himself comfortable on my bed. "I have an idea of what we can do!" I exclaimed suddenly. He looked at me bemused. I pulled my comforter off the bed, making Drew fall off the bed.
"Hey!" He exclaimed, scrambling up. I dragged the cover downstairs to the playroom and dumped it on the couch. I opened the small cupboard which held all the essential things I would need to make this. "Are you just going to stand there or help me?" I grunted.
"I quite like my position here." He smirked. I rolled my eyes and then proceeded to pull put a massive bright orange bag. Inside was a massive three man tent that we used when we used to go camping as a family. I used to get my own one as I was the only girl and Jake, Matt and Liam used to share a tent. But ever since they went to university the camping trips were less frequent and now it had been a year since we last went.
I started assembling the tent, while Drew stood there watching me, leaning on the doorframe. "Gee, it's not like I need any help?" I said sarcastically. He smirked but came over to help.
I say help but he couldn't really do it. "Where does this stick bit go?" He asked.
"It's not a stick it's part of the frame. And it attaches to this part." This continued for about half and hour, with me doing most of the work. For a guy who can fix cars he was really bad at assembling a simple tent.
"You were probably better off not helping." I glared at him.
"I told you." He smirked.
"No you didn't say you could put up a tent!" I punched his arm, not lightly I might add.
"Ow what was that for?" He frowned rubbing his arm.
"I felt like it." I shrugged. He rolled his eyes and reached out his hand to hep me up. I took it and he pulled me up. I stuffed lots of old blankets and comforters in the tent flattening them out so it was like a mattress. I grabbed pillows from my bedroom and put them inside too. Finally I stuffed my own comforter inside. By that time Drew had come from the kitchen with a billow of popcorn and a case of Cokes.
He set it inside the tent and wordlessly went inside to get candies I never thought I had. We pinned the entrance flaps to the sides do we could watch the television. "What do you want to watch?" He asked, remote in hand.
"Anything. You can choose." I shrugged popping popcorn into my mouth.
"Great. That means I won't have to sit through some soppy romance." he grunted.
"Actually I change my mind. There's this film on Netflix I really wanted to watch, but never had the time to." I said excitedly.
"Uh... Okay then." Drew said handing me the remote. I switched the channel to our Netflix channel and chose Dear John. I didn't actually want to watch it, I just wanted to annoy Drew.
"Dear John? Seriously?" He asked running his hands through his hair. I bit my lip to prevent myself from smiling.
"Yeah Taylor recommended it and she said it was worth watching." I said, feigning enthusiasm. He ran his hands through his hair again and I couldn't help but want to feel his soft hair too.
