"Good morning girlfriend." Daniel smiled, as my eyes fluttered open. I was still tired from last night's drama but I didn't want to miss another day of school.

"Hey boyfriend." I smiled back at him. He leaned down to kiss me but I placed my finger to his lips. "Let me get up properly first!" I laughed. From the state of my room I assume he stayed over last night and knowing my mom she let him stay in my room. Yes I realised later that her meeting was only the day so she was home when we came back.

I rolled out of bed, but since our legs were tangled together I fell out the bed. Daniel chuckled, while I looked up at him scowling. He dangled his hand over the edge to pull me up.

Instead I pulled him down and his torso landed on me, as his other half of his body was still on the bed.

"I love you." Daniel said as he leaned down to kiss me. This time I didn't refuse. It was a short sweet kiss but it wasn't like the one we shared before. Sunlight streamed into my room, almost blinding me. I groaned and wiggled out of Daniel's embrace.

I skipped to the bathroom and quickly had a shower and brushing my teeth. I tied my bathrobe around me and peeked into my room. Daniel was buttoning up his shirt so I ran to my wardrobe, locking the door as I went in.

"Maddi?"

"I'm changing!" I called. I heard Daniel'a distinctive laugh echo through the doors. I just randomly pulled on a pair of plum coloured jeans and a black top, upon which I wore a peach top and a cream coloured cardigan. Since my hair was having a good day today, I just ran a brush through it and came out. I think Daniel was downstairs, because I could hear him banging the cupboards.

When I got downstairs I saw him getting two bowls out and a box a Lucky Charms.

"Here you go." He placed the cereal and milk in front of me. I sat down on the stool and began to chomp on my food.

"I don't want to tell anyone about us yet." I told him.

"Why not?" he asked, slightly upset.

"Because... I don't know. I just want it to be us before the whole school finds out because they will find out it really quickly." I explained.

"Oh... Okay then. Whatever you want." he said resignedly.

"Hey if it's not too much to ask... But I'm going to go to school on my own." I said, looking down.

"Why?"

"Well I have a surprise and so I have to come to school after you." I smiled.

"Uh... Okay then?" He got up to put his empty bowl in the sink.

"Actually. You know what never mind. I can show you some other day." I said, also placing my bowl in the sink. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him.

"Let's go." I whispered in his ear. But he still stood there, so I took his hand and led him to the car. I unhooked the keys from the rack and shoved him into the drivers seat.

"I don't know what's up with you today but we are going to school, but not after you cheer up." I looked at him sternly.

He still looked upset, about something I don't know. "If you're not going go tell me why your upset I don't know why we are together. Couples tell each other everything don't they? So why shouldn't we do that?" I scolded him. At this he sighed and turned to finally face me.

"I don't understand why you don't want to tell people about us." he said quietly.

"I don't want to tell people yet. There's a difference. I don't want to tell them because of Victoria." I looked away. I didn't want him to see shame in my face.
