Natalie's Pov:

i woke up to the feeling of Luke breathing on the back of my neck, he was still sleeping as always, but he looks so adorable when hes sleeping, i can never bear to wake him, he always looks so peaceful but today was the day i was going shopping with Alyssa an i wanted to get as much time in with him as i could so i decided to wake him up, " Luke baby, wake up please" i said whispering an shaking him,  he opens his eyes an immediately smiles an pulls me into a kiss, are lips moving in complete sync, i then pull away to go get dressed for the day, " i am going to the mall with Alyssa today so i want you up so we can spend some time together, cause i might be spending the night at her place" i said getting up an grabbing a pair of black ripped skinny jeans, a black belly shirt an one of lukes black an red flannels, " but i want you to stay home an cuddle with me" he says pouting," i cant, i promised Alyssa that me an her would have a girls day an maybe a sleepover if i was up to it an i think i might be, plus i want to show her the engagement ring, i mean its beautiful an i love it an i know she will too!" i said sliding it onto my finger smiling an then staring at it for 5 minutes until loom interrupts me, " fine, how long do we have to spend together" he asked pouting, i looked at my phone it was 9:30am an i wasnt meeting Alyssa till 1:30pm, " we have about 4-5 hours, so don't be pouting about it an lets get some breakfast an go watch a few movies on netflix" i said running down the stairs with him following, an right before we pick a movie to watch the doorbell rings, " i'll get it, be right back" i say running toward the door, i open the door only to see someone i never expected to see anytime soon, " who is it babe?" luke hollers, " its....my..uh-mom!" i say yelling back, an i hear him walking to the door, " hi Hunny, how are you?" my mom asks smiling, " why are you here? how do you have the guts to come here an ask that question when you dropped out of my life 3 years ago" i said yelling an crying at the same time, by that point Luke was hugging me from behind, an whispering to me to calm down in my ear, " i just wanted to see you, your all grown up an i see you two are still together, that good" she said trying not to cry, then i break free of lukes grip an hug my mom tightly as she hugs back surprised, " i missed you so much mom, i miss everyone, from lacey to lana! how are they?" i asked still hugging her, " i missed you too but i actually have to tell you that all the kids have been adopted, an i wanted to come see you, my only little girl that was left but i see that now you are not so little an by the looks of things, engaged?" she said smiling, i almost cried when she said that all the kids had been adopted, " oh yeah, he proposed last night, it was amazing an he makes me so happy" i said smiling an thats the moment i had finally gotten my mom back.

" do you want something to eat mom? i can get you a slice of pizza, pepperoni your favorite? or a can of coke?" i say nervously, " umm, a can of coke would be great!" she says awkwardly setting her purse on the counter an walking into the living room with luke, i grab 3 cokes an head into the living room, " here you go, so what brings you here?" i ask curiously, " well, i wanted to see you an obviously tell you thats all the kids were adopted an i have something else to tell you, but its bad/sad news" she says slowly an calmly, " okay, go ahead" i said calmly, " well, your grandparents have passed away, both of them died last night at the same time" she said a tears sliding down her cheek, " wha-what are you ta-talking abou-about" i stuttered crying, " i am sad too, an i didnt want to tell you over the phone or letter or text message i wanted to tell you in person" she said walking over an hugging me, i hug her back an we just sit there for a while, " i'm glad you came to tell me in person, personally ive missed you so much, but couldn't bring myself to come see you cause last time we were in each others presence we got into a fight!" i said pulling out of the hug an drying the tears from my cheeks with my shirt, " i know an after that fight i hated myself for the way i yelled at you an what i said to you" she said standing up an heading into the kitchen.

" are you leaving?" luke asked walking into the kitchen, " uh, yeah, i have to take care of the funeral expenses an stuff but you can come by the house anytime an weirdly enough natalie but your room is the same as you left it, hasnt been touched all these 2-3 years" my mom said picking up her purse an heading toward the door, " that's awesome but you can go ahead an use it for whatever cause i wont need it, but thanks for keeping it like that these past few years" i say hugging her one last time before she head out the door an left in her car, " luke, i have to go, im meeting Alyssa in 10 minutes, ill see you either in the morning or later tonight okay, i love you so much babe" i said hugging him, then his lips attack mine before i can say another word, i kissed back an our lips moved in complete sync with each other an this lasted for about 5 minutes before i pulled away, i was gonna be late as it was, " i love you to, see you soon Mrs.Hemmings" he says smiling, " shut up, not yet okay!" i say jokingly, he put on a fake sad pout as i opened the door an left the house.
