Luke's pov:

I hit her! I can't live with myself, I have to get out of here! Her and the kids are better without me! I'll write her a note an get Mikey to give it to her, then I'll go to my favourite place an think of what to do next.

The note didn't take long to write if u call 3 cups of coffee and 6 drafts not
Long, i was aloud to leave the hospital now, I gave Mikey the letter an told him to give it to her once I had stepped out of the parking lot, it was raining today and I guess it just feels perfect!

Natalie's pov:

I was feeding the babies when Mikey walked in, " hey umm... Bad news an I am so so sorry!" He said with a sad look, " Mike what's up?" I asked confused, instead of answering me he handed me a white envelope with my name written in Luke's hand writing, "What's this?" I asked mike, " read it, I have no idea what it says but he told me to tell you he was sorry!" He said I opened it up an began reading

Natalie,
This was harder for me to write than you know an I hate to do this, please don't hate me! I'm leaving u and the kids for a good reason! You'll be safer without me, I tried to keep you safe but hurt you in the process! I love you and always will, but I can't live with myself when I've hurt you! This has to end before I hurt you worse than I already have! You and the kids are my world an I'm trying to keep you safe! Don't worry about anything anymore! I'll be fine, kiss the kids for me!

" no no no! When did he leave mike!!?" I asked with tears in my eyes, " 10 minutes ago!" He said quietly, " watch the kids please! I gotta go after him!!" I said getting up an throwing on my converse, the rain is gonna ruin them but I don't care, I know exactly where he's going!!

I got dressed quickly an threw on a hoodie he left in my room, i ran as fast as I could, not stopping, I got to my destination an there on a bench in the middle of a large field was Luke Robert Hemmings.

" LUKE!!!" I yelled running to him, his head shot up at my voice an he almost looked relieved, " Nat you can't be here! I don't want to hurt you again! I can't be with you if I've hurt you! We can't be together!" He said not believing his own words, " Luke! You are my husband! We made a promise to each other an you can't break that! You can't break me, we belong together! I love you an always have since the day I met you! I am not letting you slip through my fingers!! You are not leaving me!! I love you god dammit!! More than I've ever love anyone before!!" I said tears now running with the rain down my cheeks, " I-i love you too! Your my world but what if I-" I knew he was asking bout hitting me again, " then we will get through it! I ran in the rain for you Lucas! I would do so much for you because of how I love you! Now don't leave me! Please!" I begged holding his face in my hands, he smiles before leaning in and connecting our lips, the kiss is passionate and romantic and the rain just makes it so much better, "I don't know how I would've gotten through all this if I had left you!" He whispers pulling back, I smile at him and take his hand in mine. "Let's go back!" I mumble walking back the way I came.
