" Babe! please stay off your feet! those were the doctors orders!!!" I begged, " I know! but it's harder than you think you know!" she whined, " I know babe! I know but you need to! if you want I can come cuddle with you!" I said calmly, " I'd love that babe! but answer your phone! that's the 3rd times its rung in 5 minutes" she said curiously, " Okay! fine" I said an picked up the phone
" Hello?" I answered
" Hi! Mr. Hemmings right? Luke Hemmings?" they asked nervously
" Uh, Yeah! may I ask who this is?" I asked nervously
" Uh, Yeah! sorry, I'm officer denley! could you come down to the station please" he asked curiously
" What for? is everything okay?" I asked curiously
" There's a women here claiming that she's your mother, she said her name is Liz, Liz hemmings" he told me calmly
" No, no no! that's not possible! my mother died when I was younger!" I told the officer
" Sir, I ran her prints an checked her records! she's alive an she's here! your mother is not dead!" he said sympathy clear in his voice
" Oh! Uh- uh, i'll be right there! H-Hold on O-Okay! thank you officer" I said an then the line went dead.
" Luke! baby what happened? what about your mom? what's going on?" Nat asked curiously, " My Mom she- she's alive!" I said, barely audible, " S-she is? Who was on the phone?" she asked curiously, "It was an officer, Officer denley, he said my moms at the station an wants to see me! he ran all the prints an records, it's my mom Nat! my mom is A-alive" I said, tears clear in my voice, " Well then! lets go! don't wanna keep them waiting do you?" she said calmly, " Yeah, L-lets G-go" I stuttered, tears brimming in my eyes, " Okay! i'll drive! lets go" she said, an before I knew it we were out of the house, in the car an off to where my mother apparently was waiting for me.
20 minutes later
" L-luke, were here baby! let's go" Nat whispered, kissing my cheek ever so softly as if any more pressure would shatter me into a million pieces, " C-can you just G-give me a M-minute please" I whispered, " Of course baby, shh! its all okay, its all gonna be okay" Nat spoke soothingly, " I'm good! L-lets go before I regret this" I said quietly, " Okay! lets go!" she said opening her door an then coming around to mine, " Come on baby! lets do this!" she whispered taking my hand in hers an leading me in the doors of the station, we walked to the front desk an nat spoke for me, " Hi! this is luke hemmings, officer denley called him, something about his mother" she said calmly, " Yes of course, I've been expecting you! follow me" she said, sympathy clear in her voice, " Oh, okay thank you" she said before I tuned everything out an it was all muffled voices.
" Excuse me? hello, Mr. Hemmings!" I heard someone say, " Huh? uh yeah, what is it?" I asked curiously, " Luke baby! he asked if your ready to see your mom!" Nat said ever so sweetly, " Uh, Y-yeah! I-I guess so" I stuttered, " Okay then! i'll bring her in then" the officer spoke an walked out of the room, " Okay! thank you!" I said before my eyes brimmed with tears, " Shh luke baby! its all okay, your gonna be okay! I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere" She whispered in my ear with a few more comforting words, " Soon enough an officer walked in the room with a familiar women behind him, she had medium blonde hair an blue eyes, she was kinda short compared to me, just a little shorter than Natalie an when her eyes met mine a smile appeared on her face.
