Dear Diary,
We're at a hotel in the countryside. We just randomly went on the bus and got off whenever we chose to. I bought Emily some baby food, milk powder, a bottle, and a small foldable crib. She's doing well. Obviously Emily can't do much but she's really great company. I really do love her. More than Toby. More than anyone else.
We had to go all the way out here in the country side where almost no one lives because the media won't stop talking about us.
Murderer on the loose. Children abducted. You don't know shit.
We chose this hotel because there was no technology. No television, nothing. That means we are safe. For now.
Toby is getting dressed and I'm ready to sleep as well. Emily is in her crib and is sleeping. She's really calm. I want to be someone who had nothing on her shoulders, carefree and innocent. Like a few months ago, before everything changed.
