Dear Diary,
Toby has died. I found his body laying near a berry bush in the forest. He must've found it and tried to bring some back for us. He was cold as stone, with berries scattered around him. God, he was so skinny.
Help me. I'm sobbing. Emily's screaming.
I can't live on.
I kissed his lifeless corpse, but this time I felt something. A small spark in my heart.
I loved him. I couldn't feel it when he was alive, why can I feel it now that he's dead?
Why when he's dead?
