Hey Diary,
I'm graduating. Elementary was indeed a long journey, but graduating opens up new doors of opportunity. Everyone has been talking about Ashley's mysterious hanging. It's been all over the news. I was actually a suspect at first, because my hatred towards Ashley was well known around the whole school. I managed to get through it, saying it was just a little game we liked to play, just teasing. They believed me.
Today, I'm feeling pretty good. I thought I would maybe feel guilty after the incident but nope, no guilt was felt. I actually feel pretty opposite. I used to think that killing people was the last thing I'd ever do, but I kind of liked it. It felt good, natural. It felt pleasing to have got rid of someone all by myself. I feel accomplished.
Let me tell you in detail how I killed off Ashley Ludd.
One of my smoking buddies got me this cool button that triggers three small detectors made of metal to whatever you connect it to. Like a remote control. You can set what you want the three to do. He also got me a rope that could be controlled by it.
My friend said that he got it from his friend who used it to steal drugs from the drug store. That friend got it from the black market.
Basically, I connected the small metal trigger detector onto the rope which goes above a pillar on the ceiling of the stage, then down behind a bunch of props so no one would see. The rope was held down with the rolly things fisherman use to reel up their nets. I got a small one from E-bay. The other end, of course, was the loop that would suffocate Ashley. The loop was drooping at a height that no one would see because it was covered by the curtains that go around the stage.
When I press the button, the first metal detector sends the rope down, and stops when the loose loop goes around where Ashley's neck would be. Then the other metal trigger on the loop tightens the rope. The final metal trigger pulls the rope back up so Ashley would hang above ground.
Ta-da.
It took a lot of time and effort to research the height of Ashley, estimate where she would be standing, where her neck would be etc. I had to test it with a dummy many times when I had time, and when it was the real deal, I hoped for the best.
So as you all know, the reason I let Ashley get to you so easily is so that my plan would work; I knew that she would 100% use this at prom so everyone would remember her as the 'hero' of our school or something. She just loves to gloat, doesn't she? But that turned out to be a good distraction, so it's all good.
Whatever. I bet in a few days, no one would even remember who Ashley Ludd was. That's how shallow humans are.
