A/N
This is the first fan fiction I have ever written so if it is bad, please don't point it out obviously, I'm human so I have feelings too. The reason I decided to let this be my first book was because I really loved the Legend of Zelda games and this is how I wanted to show my appreciation.

I always, at least once a month, had them. Well, at least what I called nightmares. I called them that because, at the end of the dream, I always watched my parents get slaughtered right in front of me. After that I would wake up in a sweat, running straight to the graveyard seeing the stones marked bold (m/n) and (d/n). That's right, I live alone, pitied by the villagers in my town. That's how I thought I would always live, farming, cooking, cleaning, doing all these chores alone.
I woke up like I did when I had that dream but my legs were frozen, in fact, they were shaking cause the dream was a little different from the others. Instead of me watching, I was doing the killing. When my leg could move again, I went to my closet and changed into my (f/c) t-shirt with a long sleeve under and long dark pants. I grabbed a hat that would protect me from the sun and my sunglasses. Then my thoughts took over again.
I've never relied on anyone until the legendary hero of Hyrule came to my town. I always heard really good rumors about him, making me believe that he was fictional. That was proved wrong when I saw him riding his beloved horse one day, into the middle of town and soon was gaping at how handsome he looked. In fact, they said he had cerulean blue eyes which shone of courage and a green hat with a green tunic and white undershirt, as well as white leggings which weren't a lie. I was cooking right outside my house because I had no kitchen and my hands were covered in callouses when I steadied my gaze over them.
I squeaked a little when the dull knife came in contact with my ring finger, blood soon oozing out. I sit down and blow on it when I turned around to see him, yes the hero, staring right at me, but that wasn't what I was shocked about. He jumped off his horse and walked over to me, soon kneeling down, noticing the blood he grabbed a red potion out of his bag and gave it to me.
"Are you hurt?" he asked with worry shining through his glistening blue eyes.
"Please don't worry yourself about me, I'm fine besides, I could buy a potion for myself," I said weakly smiling at him hoping he would leave. After all, I knew I was wasting his time and it could've been used to save Hyrule a little earlier.
He stole a glance at my home noticing that my name on the sign. He sighed also noticing it was very old. Then he turned back to me with determined eyes and said, "I have extra, losing one won't hurt." He smiled making me also grin in response. I slowly reached out for the potion and drank it. My wound healed in an instant. He watched as I stared at him suspiciously. I began happily jumping around and giggling as soon as I realized it also gave me more energy but the dancing soon stopped when I sat down. I realized something before turning away my gaze.
"Y-y-you... I'm not wasting your time, am I?", I stuttered.
This time it was his turn to laugh which made me glace back up and caught me off guard.
