A/N
I'm so, so, sorry! My grades are going down when I write my stories (before you ask, it's because I'm taking all the time away from homework and studying) so I will be offline for a while after this story is published. I don't know when I'll come back but I really want it to be soon so I could return doing my passion. With that said, I'll try to make this part longer than the other stories as a farwell gift.
Reader's POV
I woke up again...
'I tend to fall asleep a lot don't I? I've never slept that much before Link came... oh no!,' I thought to myself and turned around. Luckily I see Link, very much alive, just staring at a piece of paper, I walk towards him and watch over his shoulder.
"Morning," he said only just noticing I was awake.
"Is that a map?" Link grew surprised at my question but, returned to normal soon afterward.
"Yeah, do you know where it leads to?," I try to read the map, it looks familiar but, I don't remember being there.
"No..."
For some reason it felt familiar but I shook the feeling off and noticed that I was in a what looked like a tree house. It looked very taken care of so I only knew it was one when I looked out the window. The breeze higher up in the air was more relieving and I wanted to jump off but that would end bad with me breaking my bones so I quickly shook off anymore thoughts like that in my head.
"I have to take you there," I turned and when I saw his face, I knew it was a serious matter. I already knew this was going to happen sooner or later so I decided it was best if no questions were asked during the journey. Link packed up everything we needed and double checked just in case before leading us off the ladders.
'Out and into the wild,' these words rang in my head and it had a certain familiar feeling to it. We grabbed our things went down, as we reached the ground, I noticed Epona was staring at us and walked towards her, we put our items in a bag and clipped it to her saddle so it wouldn't fall. Link got on first and made sure everything was secure before lending me a hand to pull me up.

After a few hours of Epona trotting, we got off of her because Link saw Epona was walking slower than usual and it was close to night time, concluding she was extremely tired. I tied Epona to a tree and fed her some carrots before I set up a camp and let Link leave to get firewood so I prepared a tent and everything before he came back with some fish too. I grilled and finished them as we sat next to each other and ate while talking about his adventures.... well, we didn't talk about it, he just told them and I asked questions about the monsters he encountered like the Redead and Moblins. We went to sleep in each of our separate tents and waited for day to come.
-
When we were walking I tripped over a rock and he chuckled in amusement for a while before helping me up. Even with that happy attitude, I knew Link wasn't being himself, something about that sent shivers down my spin but... I didn't know why.
Link's POV
Someone is watching us, in the shadows, I know because that person wasn't really caring if they stepped on a few branches thinking I wouldn't notice the sound. But I did and I was walking more quickly, (y/n) seemed to take note of my actions and started walking faster as well. The sounds were getting further and I thought we were safe until a shadow was forming on the ground then popping out.
"You are not allowed here," the voice cracked almost sounding as if this person was dead or broken.
"Why?"
