Reader's POV

I pinched my arm...
"Ouch", I said quietly.

'Just like I thought. This isn't a dream, all my dreams are about how my parents have died. Then again, those dreams were fake too because I was able to feel the needles going inside my skin. If that is true then... who is doing this?', I thought as I looked back at the monster to see it transform into a shadow.

"Dark Link!", I yelled as the shadow became the same structure as Link.

"Bravo", he clapped and walked towards me, "You have successfully completed this trial".

"Trial?", I looked at him but still kept my distance.

"You found out that this indeed was not any ordinary dream", he smiled creepily.

"It's common sense that it wouldn't hurt when you dream", I spoke sarcastically.

"I guess so", he chuckled darkly.

"Why are you doing this anyway?!", I asked.

"That... the time isn't right yet", his voice had a sharp and cold tone.

"I don't care about when the time is right!", I started tearing up, "Why are you making me face these nightmares?".

"...", he looked at me blankly before turning around so as to face me.

"This is for your own amusement, isn't it?", I questioned, "My life isn't a toy for you to play around with!".

"The prophecy...", he whispered.

"What?", I looked at him as he glanced at my side.

"It's too late now", he disappeared into his shadow again after he spoke his last lines.

"Wait! Please...", I reached my hand out and I was alone again in the dark that I feared.

~After the dream

"(y/n)?", I heard a calm voice reach out to me.

"Um? Hello?", it spoke again but in a more hushed tone.

"Wake up!", the voice made me shoot up from my laid position.

I turned to see a little girl, cross that, a tiny one that was dressed in all blue (she was also blue herself) with tiny wings on her back.

"This is probably another part of my dream", I sighed and pinched myself.

"Oh no...", I realized.

"What?", 'it can speak too?!?!', I thought.

"Its not a dream!!!!", I jumped and ran in a circle as the fairy sweat dropped from my actions.

"Uhh... are you okay", she hesitantly stretched out her hand even though it was small.

"Okay... Am I okay?", I thought out loud.

Navi's POV

"Okay... Am I okay?", the (h/c) haired girl spoke and I sweat dropped again.

'I can't believe she is questioning her own well-being', I reminded myself to send her to a psychiatrist when I had time.

"Yeah... I think so", she checked her forehead with her hand and smiled with no worries weighing down her mind.

"Hey, I don't mean to change the subject so suddenly but... Do you have any parents?", I mentally face palmed at how I asked the question as the girl's smile faded and was soon replaced with a frown.

"You don't need to answer! I'm sorry for getting too personal!", I said hoping to change her mood but she just opened her mouth.

"No"
