Reader's POV

*Stomach growling*

"Uhh, that wasn't me," Sorata said.

"Uhh, that sure was you," I replied.

"Not."

"Yes."

"Not."

"Yes."

"Not."

"Not," Link added.

"Yes," Sorata stated and realized at last second, he fell into the trap.

"You're still human," I said trying to make him feel better.

"I know and that's what I hate about this curse."

"Let's just take a nap for now then go for food, it is night time."

"Yeah," he said defeated.

I lay my head down next to the tree and stared off into the distance before finally nodding off and falling asleep.

With one thought left in my head, I reunited with my childhood friend but, I didn't even feel even the slightest bit of happiness. Something was wrong... very wrong, with me or something else. I was scared to say I don't know but that was the only thing I could think of saying.

~Dream

Someone else was narrating my dream, "Who are you!?!" I yelled hoping that that person had heard me. 'My parents died huh?' That thought wasn't from me in fact, someone is playing a trick with me and it's my head but I wasn't going to fall for it, right? 'How did my parents go?' I lost my memory for some reason so I became curious and wanted to know everything but someone else is blocking my way to there. What surprised me was the fact that I managed to remember who my best friend was. 'This distorted world can confuse you but don't let it control you', the voice thought again. "WHO ARE YOU!?!? What are you talking about!?!", I said shaking my head.

"Soon, be patient dear," it finally spoke.

How warm their voice was.

~Dream End

"(Y/N)!!!!" I turned to see Sorata.

"What?"

"I've called your name a million times and you didn't answer."

"Sorry... I need a moment to myself," I left the camp and walked a distance before sitting down on the grass while watching the stars, 'someone was pulling the strings and I don't know anything. Who is it?'.

"Are you okay?" I turned around and saw Link sit next to me, staring at the dark sky as well.

"I'm fine. Just fine..." There was a silence for a while until a voice in my head talked.

'Fine? How am I? Am I really okay?' These questions were strange. I didn't know exactly how to respond. It was as if I wasn't me in that moment.

"(Y/N)!!" he shook my body.

"Huh?" I took my hands away from my head.

"If you're hurt, please don't hesitate to tell me what is wrong," he spoke softly almost afraid of hurting me, he hesitated a little before wiping away my tears.

'Wait... I'm crying? Me?'

"I'm not crying for myself... is it pity?" I questioned myself.

"Huh?" I turned to him, ready to explode with questions and think carefully about what I'm saying.

"Link..."
