Chapter 11: Drugged

Chloe's Pov

So here I am getting ready to see Josh tonight and he texts me saying that he had to do something for his friend so he can't pick me up

He told me the address to a party that we're going to. Now I have to find my own ride. I shouldn't even be doing this, but I need to get rid of him. He just won't go away.

I have to talk to him and make him see where I'm coming from. That's probably going to be hard because he's stubborn.

In order to move forward in my life I need to get rid of some dead weight. Starting with Josh. It won't be easy but it must be done.

I didn't want to do this at a party but if it's the only way then I just got to suck it up. I hope by the end of the night this will go the way I want it too, but with my luck I highly doubt it.

Tonight I chose to wear black ripped jeans, a black crop top, black combat boots and a black leather jacket. Yes, I like wearing black.

My hair was curled and I had on light makeup. Maybe I can just walk to the party. I grabbed my phone and was going down the stairs when there was a knock at my door.

Who could that be? I open the door and see Vincent standing there smiling but when he sees me he looks me up and down. "Well don't you look good."

"Thanks, so what's up?"

"I was wondering if you would want to come hang with us tonight but I see you already have plans." He said looking at my clothes.

"Yeah I'm sorry. I would if I wasn't busy. It's just something I have to do."

"No problem babe, maybe some other time. So you have a date or something? A boyfriend?"

"No..something like that..it's complicated."

"What time are you leaving?"

I looked at the time on my phone. "Well actually I should be leaving now if I want to make it on time."

"Wait, you're not walking are you?"

"Yeah why?"

"Whoever this guy is, he's a douche. If he wants you to find your own way to wherever he's at instead of picking you up like he's suppose to, then he's not worth your time."

"Well, like I said, it's complicated."

"Come on, I'll give you a ride."

"Aren't you doing something with Noah and Blake?"
